The Argentine administration of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner called Wednesday on the opposition lawmakers to pass an anti money laundering bill before June other wise Argentina could be black-listed for not having the proper controls. Read full article

Common Martin 1 conviction for money laundering in 11 years, its hardly says your government is working on stamping it out, in fact it says your all welcome to be corrupt and launder money as we will not convict you if caught.
At #5 at least we convict those caught for money laundering, the only reason we have the higher rate of money laundering is because we are financial power houses.
On the other hand, if argentina was to actually attempt to tackle and convict its people that money launder, its rates of money laundering crimes would probably surpass that of the UK and US rates when added together. But just 1 conviction on money laundering in 11 years shows that argentina actually encourages such crimes.

If you are talking about GDP per capita the higher in the world is Qatar $145,300 compare with UK $34.000 it seems pretty poor.
If are talking about nominal NGDP in USD China is close to triple UK and IN PPP is 4.5 time UK’s GDP. So should China would be a Western country according with you?

Architects have little to do with the builidng project, they design it, and then project managers and construction managers oversee the buidling work. Only time arhitects are bought back into the fold is to correct serious design flaws in their work or make small design adjustments.

As for the youtube clip showing the historic nothern banks of London that in some places is 2,000 years old, only historic buildings no taller that 10 storeys are found. All londons modern construction and skyscrapers are found on the southern banks, which the video shows nothing off. IDIOT. Notices a lot of high Resisdential Flats in your links, hardley call them skyscrapers. Us brits prefer to own our own houses of 2- 5 storeys high, so our urban areas, some shown in the video are full of 2 - 5 storey housing hence why it may look flat, but thats how we prefer to live. In fact having skyscrapers does not make you a western nation, look at China, they have loads, but they are not a western nation. neither is shanghai.
