    Chuckle chuckle……………….

    Article says:
”FOGL’s Northern Licence is due to expire on 15 December 2011. FOGL has discussed its planned drilling campaign with the Falkland Islands Government and is confident that it will be able to obtain an extension of the licence to cover the planned programme on terms that are acceptable to FOGL.”

    Think says:
Think ”Thinks” that FOGL can be quite confident to be able to obtain an extension of the license to cover the planned programme on terms that are acceptable to FOGL if………………they put their best man on the Islands, FOGL Consultant Stephen Luxton in direct charge of negotiations with the new Mineral Resources Director of the Islands, FOGL Consultant Stephen Luxton…..

    And:

This “excellent”, “exciting” and “market pleasing” news explain why…:
FOGL shares went down 8.64% today to 74p
BOR shares went down 3.99% today to 66.25p

Of course in Argentina it would be standard practise fora Govt Official to favour company he used to work for and put juicy business its way and collect the juicy kickbacks - standard Argy practise. Shows how clueless you lot are though - there is very little chance of that sort of affair happening here - for a start at the slightest hint of dodgy deals the UK would intervene (They do actually have fromal UN responsibility for democracy here!) and the other companies would be protesting before as well! Dont forget at the end of the day final decisions are taken here by our elected Executive NOT civil servants.
But I guess if you live in a land full of virtual daily corruption its natural to assume the rest of the world is the same. I am not saying everybody here are saints - just that they would be caught out at a very early stage. We have lots of “checks and balances” to prevent it. What is probably more likley is that FOGL will get hard nosed deals rather than good ones! Our new Oil chief knows BOTH side of the coin!!

Yeahhhh,.......... you are all a big happy family, playing a nice game of Monopoly.

If Junior (civil servant) makes a ”mistake”, Daddy (Elected Executive) will surely correct it.
If both make a mistake, Uncle UK (he owns the game) will surely put ”things right”.
    No bribes needed folks.
Everybody just grab the money directly from the box.

That’s the typical behavior of the Island's hardliners... those that got all the power and riches by being hardliners……
But there are plenty of other good people in the islands tired of this. (Especially those only getting the crumbs of the cake)

Anyhow, just continue using wolves to guard the sheep.
Sooner or later, the system will work for you as it works all over the world, tearing down your “happy family” from the inside…………

Think - can assure you mate that I am in the latter group you talk about! Work 7 days a week and struggle to earn enough to pay tax most of the time! Most of todays “nuevou-rich” here are not old establishment names either if you took a look - and well done and good luck to them!

What riches think? according to you there's no oil and all the investors are credulous fools who are going to get stung, However these 'hardliners' who have gained riches and power do not do so by being fools.....are you soooo sure there's no oil think?

#4 - I see that Think is attempting the 'divide and conquer' ploy ...... notoriously turnip-like !

#1 - I also see that the market remains a mystery to him ... of course, if there's to be an increase in the share number then there is an obvious dilution which will cause the share price to settle downwards .... come on Think ... think !
