The European Union and Argentina agreed to increase Argentina's lucrative Hilton Quota of high-end beef exports by 1,500 metric tons annually, according to a release in Buenos Aires from the Foreign Ministry late Wednesday. Read full article

this negotiation could have been done within the context of Mercosur,
gaining bigger and wider trading advantage to the benefit of all four South American nations.

Regular Mercopress visitors know I live in NE Brasil.

Too old for politics now, but did a bit elsewhere in earlier years.
Old retired guys have the time to do the forum-thing;
