Irrespective of the merits of the case, it's not a little suspicious that this should come up just when Mercedes Benz is locked horns with Argentina over the import-export 'reciprocality' imposition.
A classic weaken-the-opposition's-hand tactic, but - interestingly - using the US (devil incarnate) to do the dirty work for it.
