Jun 14th, 2011 - 04:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Marcos - they are your mines, why don't you do the honorable thing and come and take them back where they belong. We will spend our money helping those in the developing world. Argentina appears unable to ensure families send their kids to school! Explains your intellect I suppose.
Jun 14th, 2011 - 04:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 02-Brutish like yourself have refused the Argentinean offers to send demining teams to remove all the mines.

I congratulate Nepal too ,for removing their monarchy !
Jun 14th, 2011 - 06:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Just pay for the de-mining, we can then commission a team from Zimbabwe to do the work so they can send the money back to their families. Globalization in action.
Jun 14th, 2011 - 08:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Geo - but many Nepalese choose to fight for our monarchy. The last time some Argies saw the Nepalese they crapped themselves and ran in the opposite direction.

i know many events the Gurkhas were used by British..
for all i remember one of was ...in Irak/1924 while King Faisal era ,
during the initiatives of settling the puppet state by British, the Gurkhas
were used to massacre of northern Irak resisting powers Kurds &Turkmens.......
I can give many examples from Gulf Wars..Kosova..Falkland..East Timor.........
by the way ..for all i remember in 2002 they prosecute to British Royal Army by reason of discrimination and racism about 3 billions $ with
lawyer Phil Shiner..............
I like every other loyal supporter of our boys and girls in uniform support the rights of Gurkhas. They give their allegiance to the UK of their own free will and as a result the UK and Nepal have a great shared history that supersedes any monarchy, hence this story. The Gurkhas loyalty is without question.

It was the first time aid had been delivered to people lying outside the areas around Dili and Baucau, the principle towns in the territory..
The British had to earn the respect of the , Gurkhas
Jun 14th, 2011 - 09:25 pm - Link - Report abuse 0That led to loyalty that stands today,

@10geo,
Jun 15th, 2011 - 07:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0You are very mis-informed as regards the Gurkhas.
1) Excellent soldiers, among the best, if not in fact, the best.
2) Well mannered & courteous.
3) Courageous.
4) Very Likeable & cheerful
5) Very loyal & honest.
ln Singapore, l found them to be thorough gentlemen.

@14 Face it. Argentines ran rather than face the Gurkhas. Mind you they ran rather than face most British troops. But with the Gurkhas they ran faster.
