@ 1 You're obsessed with me since the day you read my first comment haha It's painful to see another Argentine wanting the Falklanders to stay in the Falklands, Isn't it? You could never understand justice or forgiveness or truth, so don't try too hard to find the meaning, those words are not in your dictionary.
I don't go to the church because I don't believe in God, so it's pointless. I said I'll vote for Cristina because someone as corrupt as her needs all votes, nothing better than someone like her to get what we want. Don't you think? Her thunderous downfall will be her own work of art. She spoke not to Argentina but to her supporters, she doesn't really care about Argentina anymore, all she wants is power, well let's give her all the power she wants! Do you want to know a man/woman? Give him/her power and you'll know who he/she really is.
In this democratic republic of Argentina Cristina de Kirchner is above the law, in the UK not even the Queen is above the law, isn't it ironic for a “democratic” country like Argentina?
On Monday Cristina de Kirchner wiped her *rse with Argentina´s flag in Rosario city, so what's the point in fighting for a country that is not a country anymore? Unless you believe that people living in the same territory but wishing to kill the other is a country or a nation lol We just live here, but we want and need different things, and our differences are irreconcilable. You people are blinded by the light of Malvinas! haha and you can't see what's going on. It will take time, but one day this territory will be divided into two or more independent countries, we're heading for that day (slowly but continuously) and what a glorious day that will be when we'll finally be living in our own land! :)
Why do you think all of us will should support your criminal plans to expel the Falklanders from their home or to subjugate them? That's their homeland and the islands belong to the Falklanders.

I cannot see her as being popular outside of her country. For a country to develop it needs to open trade and diplomatic relations, not call other leaders names like a petulant child. Her hissy-fits when she doesn't get her own way are legendary. Way to be respected on the world stage.

But countries get what they settle for and Argentina seems to want to settle for her.

Argentina trades and has relations with the countries that are economically relevant to her - Brazil, China, etc. You're fool if you think her dispute with the UK will preclude Argentina from developing.

Yes in “La jugueterias” ha ha Chiche you know?

    @ ElaineB

“For a country to develop it needs to open trade and diplomatic relations, not call other leaders names like a petulant child”

You live in a world of fantasy we don’t call leaders from others countries that we really care stupid, arrogant, useless, etc.

Our relation with Brazilian leaders (The country that your govt. is begging for attention) is more than excellent and we are major partners, the same with Mexico, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, Cuba, Bolivia, Peru, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Japan, China, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, France, Russia, China, India, Australia, Canada , etc, etc. and even with US, have you noted that had signed against UK in the OAS manifesto?

We don’t need more or anyone to develop our country, we don’t need to be recognised in the world for nothing, we don’t care about what others think or may think about us.

We only want to be left alone doing our stuff without the interference from countries or people like UK that we don’t want or we don’t ask for and don’t count for noting here.

The only country being isolated from Rio Grande to Antartica is UK and you don’t get the message yet.
Now make a tremendous intellectual exercise and ask why?

Full stop, period, I just can get enough, call the cops, we don’t care.

@20. Think about it. What do you really have against the UK? Many other countries should be much higher on the list of villains. Many Argentines are decendants of the British people. So, when you think about it, your hatred is pure brainwashing by a government trying to distract you from the very real problems you have at home. Enjoy your bitterness, it is all you have. A hatred a day keeps the foolish at bay.

Fortunately, your anger and bitterness is not shared by the majority of Argentines. They are nothing but kindness, friendliness and welcoming whenever I visit. Though they do have a tendency to ask me if I can help them get to the UK to work or visit. My home is always open for visitors but I no longer employ people.

Nico and his compatriots will not put a target on when they will get their grubby hands on the Islands because when they start to look at the actual evidence they realize that the date that emerges is the 12th of Never.

They know this but cannot face it as it makes them aware that they have no hope and are unable to gain any leverage over the FI or the UK.

Any chance they had evaporated in 1982, an event they also want to disregard.

“so based on your professional opinion, Duhalde has no chance to beat CFK?”

Nope Arti even in his dreams, no one wants him just a useful tool of the “patria Agraria”, “main media”, Popes from big industries like Ratazzi, etc to erode power of the current govt. to get privileges like was Cobos some time ago.
Where is he now? All falls by its own weigh

After all money talks and has not ideology even the “patria agraria” will like to keep the status quo everyone is getting a lot of $$$ for their business.
    http://tvmundus.wordpress.com/2011/04/27/el-campo-manifesto-su-apoyo-a-crsitina-fernandez/

The “what you see is what you get” doesn’t apply in Argentina main media doesn’t reflect the truth like the Penguin news in Malvinas or the Economist in economy.

“trying to distract you from the very real problems you have at home”

First of all thank you very much indeed for your concern, but I don’t have any problem and you?

The only one in the distracting business here seem to be your mediocre leaders keeping you in fantasyland.
    And in decadence.

You need lady to get outside your little island more often and face the reality.

I know that this hurts but after you realised the kind of problem you have, you will be able to face them and accommodate to the new reality.
It is a good start, trust me then you will be able to elaborate the way out from yours troubles.

31 you must see the reality you can but that doesnt mean you understand this country at all.
in other thread you said why is it a free day a census in Arg while in Britain it is made online?? you dont understand basics things like this is a country of many contrasts economic, socials, etc that means the census has to be done house by house in a very big country 2.800.000 km2 and the people muste be at their home to get censed.
you are always talking of Arg, like “most argentines” or “the argentines” as if you were entitled to represent us because you work here or you have a few friends. Allyour comments should be entitled to your personnal opinnion not of all the argentines.
and many argentines are descendants of british?? the most important inmigrations here came from spain and italy. The only argentine with british descendance i know is my fox terrier wire and one friend i had at school in all my life.

@32 You fail to understand British humour. I understand perfectly why your census has to be taken in person, house to house. I was making a joke about the number of days off work Argentines have in comparison to the UK. Don't take life so seriously.
Every single comment on this board is a personal opinion, nothing more. I don't speak for the people of the UK, I can give my perspective and adjust some of the more outrageous assumptions expressed here. Just as you can give one personal perspective of your country. The reader decides if they consider that opinion is valid or not.

@34 'Darling' is an English surname. Yeah, I know, ripe for many jokes.

@ 40. The first time I visited Buenos Aires a few years ago - a short stay of just three months - I concluded after a day or so that it was just like an Italian city and the people gesticulated like Italians but spoke Spanish. The motorbike bag-snatchers, children begging and people sifting through litter bins could have been transported out of Naples. The stylish dressing, ego and vanity would not have been out of place in Milan. The first news article I read was about the arrest of a group of muggers, two of the gang members were local policemen and that settled it for me. : ) But, of course, it has developed unique elements but Argentina certainly imported many Italian traits.. At least the kirchners lead Argentina out of a major recession several years ago and its economy has being growing at strong rates for the past several years along with its expansion in Industry and Argricultural sector along with a major improvement in its employment rate. Corruption is a parasite but can be minimised and exists all over the world however some countries just hide it better than others, at least ex president Menem and his dodgy crew are no longer in power, and at last the voices of the majority of Argentines to move forward is with Cristina a far better logical choice than any other government candidate of Argentina.

You may well be right, she may be the best of a bad bunch. I wonder, do you think the lives of the poor have really improved as Cristina promised? And I have noticed a signficant increase in prices over the last three years. Do you think this affects the poorest of people? The numbers in the Villas has increased also. I only mention this because Cristina's core voters are the poorer citizens.

41 go to Chaco Tucumán and many other provinces and you should have a different view of argentinian population probably people will not gesticulate or will be people of few words because here in all this big country we are very mixed.
poors were always in this country with the dollar 1 to 1 and now too,
we are very familiar with economic up and downs and devaluations and inflation and so on people knows how to manage this..having problems like in greece and spain now .. every ten years sth happens
and im not going to vote for Cristina 12 years will be too much

@44. I have travelled through many provinces. From Ushuaia to Salta, from East to West, I have covered a fair amount of ground as part of my work. Life is very different in the other provinces but one thing that seems to unite them; mention the people of Buenos Aires and their lips curl in anger. lol. I know this is typical of many countries that dislike the people of the capital, believing they have more attention and wealth but never has it been expressed quite so forcibly. Just my experience.
