It will be good if opposition incumbents provide a CFK Presidency with a more powerful Governmental opposition.
It should serve to moderate, in the next term of office, the 'strange excesses' of an over-dominant ruling party.

I agree governments work best with a strong opposition. Look at the New Labour government early years. Whatever one's politiclal persuasion, it is just not healthy when bills can be pushed through parliament without proper debate to make the laws workable in the first place.

I thought the Botox Queen was a dead cert to get re-elected.
Pleased to see that not all Argentinians have been cowed or brainwashed by the Kirchner Family business.

@5 Not at all. A lot of Argentines living in Argentina see CFK for what she is, oppose her government, the corruption, the too powerful unions etc. but see no realistic opposition. I guess a lot could change in the next couple of months but probably not.

I shall be back in Argentina around the time of the election; should be interesting times.

Let me remind the new Governor that if he doesn't play ball with Cris, he will not get any money to support his province from the Central Government ..... Just my humble opinion.
