Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, CFK, won a landslide support Sunday at the unified simultaneous national primaries having collected more votes than the rest of the presidential candidates for next October 23. Read full article
The so called arg success is mainly based on the criminal fact to withhold repayment of loans that international bondholders have granted the arg government 10 years before.
they hide the money in switzerland where more than 50 billion usd are hidden to avoid to be cashed in by cheated bondholders like me. So it is a matter of fact, that 50 % of the arg people assist their government in criminal acts against their national and international creditors. It´s a shame! Times will change when they need new money.
There will be a massive migration to you islands people, could I go there too? hahaha
At least I live in BA, where Macri will be the pimp for the next 4 years

China, a small country is supporting Argentina on it´s claim for sovereignty over the Islands ?? mmmm it seems that the storm is starting to grow down there for you...
The glorious CFK marches on. Once she is re-elected there will be many more economies to loot, money to steal and bribes paid to fellow Peronists. The divine Miss K is so grand that the NYTimes is now spouting propaganda on her behalf.

Think - it is a national obsession not a cause. Continuing with it reinforces Argentina as the global spokescountry of disappointment. When you wake up and realize that you will never gain soverignty the sooner all that wasted time and money can be put so some constructive social use.

rouge beef , are u scared ?? is that why are you attacking me personally ??or because the largest country in the world supports Argentina´s sovereignty over the Islands, Don´t be silly, no one will fight for the islands again, you will just give them back to Argentina, as you did with some other places in the world already... clock is ticking :)
BEEF.
If you think that this dispute is a national obsession for us, we might say the same about you, anyway we beyond the postures of both countries, we all know that we wont never recover anything, we only clame for the islands because we consider that it's still a fair cause, beside the claim for the malvinas was incorporated in our constitution, so, we must continue with the claim, no matter if you and the islanders like it.
Axel arg, I´m not Argentinean, I ´m French and moved to Peru, shortly. The fact that you don´t think you will recover the islands, is not a common feeling mate... all the argies I know definitely think, they will get the Islands back in the next 10 _ 20 years. Hipolyte.
Axel - fine by me, carry on wasting your time all you want. Soverignty of the FI is not an obsession for us; it is simply an indisputable fact and one that we exercise on a daily basis. Drilling for oil is a personal obsession and RKH are doing the job :-)
Hipo - I am more worried about tripping over the cat in the morning and hurting my arse than I am about the future of British soverignty in the FI. I will be stopping in Beijing and HK on my way back from Korea next month. Do you want me do a straw poll while I am there? The only clock that is ticking is the one that counts down the time to oil production from sealion £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££!
Brothers lets have some peace in this forum .... I'm already upset enough that the bitch will rule my country for another 4 long years !!!! I need a break ! :-)))) !!!!
BEEF.
I respect your opinion, but i really think that it can't be more contradictory and a little hipocryte, you hold that the dispute is an obsession for us, but for you is an indisputable fact, please, dont make me laugh.
Like i said before, beyond the postures of all of us, we all know that we wont never recover anything, but the argentine claim for the malvinas is a constitutional issue, that's why we can't drop on it, meantine, as long as the decolonization committee continues calling both nations to resume the negotiations, we will be able to keep on claiming for the islands, sorry if you and the islanders dont like it, but we are not going to shit on our constitution, if both countries would respect the resolutions from the u. n. g. a, we wouden't have still this dispute.
Axel - Our position is that British soverignty is without question and therefore an indisputable fact as are the rights of the Islanders to determine thir future for themselves. As the UN says any negation must culminate in the best interests of the islanders and in undemocratic world ones best interests are self-determined.
This is the reason Argentina does not challenge this at the ICJ.
Brits, invaded Buenos Aires and then the Islands, your sovereignty is totally out of any international law court, that is why your country is not moving on over the UN resolutions on the Islands.
The arges I know in London are just avoiding get burned, like the rest of the people who lives there, read the news mate...
have fun in Pekin, and go to the Karaoke, I advise you the Peninsula Hotel on the central pedestrian street.
@ 37 Brits, invaded Buenos Aires and then the Islands, your sovereignty is totally out of any international law court, that is why your country is not moving on over the UN resolutions on the Islands. This was like 200 years ago? Why are the islands argentine?
The arges I know in London are just avoiding get burned, like the rest of the people who lives there, read the news mate... Wrong, because this is not a national cause, this is a political cause, and not all of us want what is other people's property. If what you say was true, it wouldn't be necessary to speak about the islands, it would be enough to say I'm Argentine, but you see, the government in England and the English people don't go around killing Argentines in London. Many Argentines living in London, would never ever comeback to live in Argentina. England, with all of its problems it's still a paradise.
Yes the clock is ticking. Ticking until RKH release the FEED, book reserves and go into production! What happens then Hipo? I will tell you what happens then; £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££!
BTW - there is only one international court of law that can rule on this and ou have avoided that like the plague!
BEEF.
I agree absolutly with you respecting the fact that the question should be taken to the icj, but only in the past my country suggested in two oportunities to the take the question to the arbitration, that happened in 1885, but the u. k. rejected that posibility.
On the other hand, only for the u. k. the british sovereignty of the islands is without question and indisputable, but this is evident that the u. n. doesn't think like that, some day you all will have to understand that the british are not the owners of the international right, if the decolonization committee calls both nations to resume the negotiations, it must be respected by both countries, beside the u. n. never said that the islands should be transfered to argentina, it has only called both nations to negotiate, it means that it's not imposible to find a solution that respects the rights of the three parts of the conflict. I have a great respect for the u. k., and i admire it so much, but unfortunately i feel that it thinks it's the owner of the right.
I made a survey about the historic and the legal aspects of the conflict, it's not argentine propaganda, it's an objetive, serious and fair work, if you want i can send it to you, and to all those who are interested on this question, in my work there is a great bibliography which has important arguments that i can't type here, because we have no so many characters to writte.
Send me an i mail to investigationmalvinas@hotmail.com.ar
Axel - unfortuantly the decolonization committee is designed to do just that, decolonize. Argentina banging on about gaining soverignty of the FI is an actual colonization and the complete opposite if what the decolonization committe is there for.
Please also note that international law did not exist in 1885 and Argentina has point blank refused to attend and ICJ hearing. In refusing it has no right to claim that UK soverignty is illegal.
The FI is listed in the lisbon treaty as an associated territory of the EU and Spain as a signatory therefore officially recognizes the FI as British territory!
The best that Argentina can do is talk to the FIG about trade and bilateral investments but to do so it would have to recognise the Islanders rights to self-determination. Ultimately the UK is only responsible for defense (at the invitation of the FIG) and foreign office representation.
Ultimately the UN doesn't hold a position. It just calls for a peaceful resolution. In my mind the Islands have been at peace since 1982 so the current position is a peaceful solution and one that the islanders have determined for themselves. It is a pity that Argentina does not respect the democratic rights of the Islanders that Argentines struggled and died for not too long ago.
42 . France invaded Russia once - so what. Stop living in the past its meaningless. Today is what counts and self determination. Oh and huge reserves of oil that don't exist.
BEEF.
Unfortunately you are very misinformed respecting the international right, in 1885 my country suggested to take the question to the arbitration, i read letters in the memories of our chancery, where that proposal was suggested, in my investigation i have enough arguments that hold what i say.
Respecting the right to self determination, and others principles of international, all of us can have diferent points of view, they are all respectable, but those aspects will always be open to diferent postures, meantime, as long as the decolonization committee continues calling both nations to resume the negotiations, it should be respected by both countries, not only by argentina.
@ 46 We're not brothers, that's just a fish tale. Born in the same territory, but not brothers. As I said before, these people sow winds, they will harvest storms. I didn't invent the laws of the universe.
Can you forget history ?? can you forget the battle of Trafalgar ?? can you forget the V1 and V2 bombs over London, I don´think so... I was in the lobby of the GUOMAN HOTEL just on the side of the London Tower and there are many pictures of bombed London, it seems that you Brits, don´t forget about WW2. .. don´t you ? you invaded Buenos Aires, you were expelled, then you took a couple of islands who had a different flag than yours and you still remain there. what is the name for that ?? self determination...., yes, your determination of taking the land of a different country by the force. That is your self determination.
You can keep the islands by power, or by arrogance, but you cannot keep them by the law. what is right is right , what is wrong is wrong.
There are 3 different ways of be powerful
1. knowledge
2. Wealth
3. Violence
you just used violence, as you used in India, untill Ghandi used knowledge with you.
FACT:
you invaded the Islands and you kept them, over the years Argies claimed for them and you did nothing.
Regarding France, you also invaded us and together with your friends , finished our imperialism and Napoleon was defeated. Then you went back to your Island, why did´n you do that down in the Malvinas... because you were defeated twice by the Argentinean/former Spanish and spanish where your enemies at that time.
Remember this Brit, a nation with no history is a nation with no future, I don´t think you forget your english history, is just that you are forgetting that you ILLEGALLY invaded the Malvinas. and now you are asking for SELF DETERMINATION ??
Regarding France, you also invaded us and together with your friends , finished our imperialism
And a little nudge from Ho chi Min
The Battle of Điện Biên Phủ (French: Bataille de Diên Biên Phu; Vietnamese: Chiến dịch Điện Biên Phủ) was the climactic confrontation of the First Indochina War between the French Union’s French Far East Expeditionary Corps and Việt Minh communist revolutionaries. The battle occurred between March and May 1954 and culminated in a comprehensive French defeat that influenced negotiations over the future of Indochina at Geneva. Military historian Martin Windrow wrote that Điện Biên Phủ was “the first time that a non-European colonial independence movement had evolved through all the stages from guerrilla bands to a conventionally organized and equipped army able to defeat a modern Western occupier in pitched battle.”[12]

Excuse my French, but what a load of bollocks.

you invaded the Islands and you kept them, over the years Argies claimed for them and you did nothing.
Regarding France, you also invaded us and together with your friends , finished our imperialism and Napoleon was defeated. Then you went back to your Island, why did´n you do that down in the Malvinas... because you were defeated twice by the Argentinean/former Spanish and spanish where your enemies at that time.
Remember this Brit, a nation with no history is a nation with no future, I don´t think you forget your english history, is just that you are forgetting that you ILLEGALLY invaded the Malvinas. and now you are asking for SELF DETERMINATION ??
be serious...
