Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff named on Thursday lawmaker Mendes Ribeiro as new Minister of Agriculture. The member of Congress from the farming state of Rio Grande do Sul replaces Wagner Rossi who stepped down Wednesday following strong allegations of corruption and irregularities. Read full article

Temer . “ . . . The new minister has an impeccable record as had Minister Wagner Rossi”.

If Rossi had such an impeccable record, why was he got rid of? Surely 'corruption and irregularities' do not sully impeccability.

I think Sr. Temer and I have different definitions of an 'impeccable record'
But, as Forgetit tells me, who am I to disagree with a Minister . . . or a Vice President?
