Brazil will ‘defend’ the recognition of a Palestinian state during the coming United Nations General Assembly discussions, said President Dilma Rousseff’s international affairs advisor Marco Aurelio García. Read full article
Brazil, is slowly getting out of step,
and jumping the gun.
The UN will not recognise a state, full stop, and definitely not Palestine,
And any decision the UN makes may have devastating consequences,.
All the UN will do is either pass the buck,
Or leave it at stale mate,
Brazil is very silly to make her intension felt, even before a decision is made, other countries are watching, just a thought .,
Who's getting out of stpe is the US. It's the US which will in some days wind up isolated at the UN to defend a dispicable rogue state against the rights of Palestinians. And the worse thing is, even in the US support for Israel has been falling. Even Thomas Friedman said some days that US policy on Israel doesn't benefit its own interests and is instead taken under pressure of the Jewish lobby.
