    finally starting to call the thing for what it really is... LAN taking over TAM, not a simple merger or “fusion”.

    TAM says it's a Merger. LAN calls it a merger. Only hispanic idiots in Chile with a low self esteem call it a take over to boost their ego.

    LAN and TAM officially call it a merger, because the legislation forces them to do so... if they would officially call it a takeover, it wouldn't take place, because brazilian laws do not admit a foreign takeover of a brazilian company beyond 49%, though the legally found a grey zone to anyway do so.
