British Defence Secretary Liam Fox has apologised over his working relationship with his former flatmate and best man Adam Werritty. Fox said it was “a mistake to allow distinctions to be blurred between my professional responsibilities and my personal loyalties to a friend”. Read full article

I could be horribly wrong, but there seems to be an implication of a sexual 'peccadillo' even though Fox is heterosexually married.

his career is (temporarily?) over on other grounds, however, if he has abused his position - or allowed the abuse by his flat-partner; uncleared attendance at meetings and the illegal business card are the clinchers.

absolutelly agree with you....they seem to be more than friends to share so much
being married its not guarantee of nothing, perhaps they do that to hide homosexuality
crispin blunt after many years of marriage didnt say he was gay?? in politics gays seem not to be well seen in your country

Homosexuality is not such a big issue and there are openly gay MPs. The inference is there in the reporting and I have to wonder why. Peter Mandelson -TB's 'Spin Doctor in Chief' and 'Man of a Thousand Lives' took his Brazilian boyfriend everywhere with him, even living with him in Hilsborough Castle when Mandy was Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

I wonder if there is a gagging order behind the scenes that is winding up the papers?
