Old news...God scared away the thieves.

Stealing is bad karma, sooner or later they'll get caught.

Marcos - considering the OG has been constantly drilling since Feb 2010 then one can expect the occasional event. Things are back on track and the rig will spurring the next well next week :-)

The picture is from when the OG was taken when it was docked in Scotland during planned downtime. Probably could have taken a similar picture when the rig was docked in Brazil Jan 2010.

Why has your gvt not started legal proceedings? If this is theft then it would be a simple open and shut case. No?

The average RG probably doesn't give a shit, its only these self-apponited malvinist numb nuts that get hot under the collar, and I've never seen more than about six or seven of them in a photograph of any of their protesting events.

They are just a bunch of extremist nutcases.

I can't wait to find out fantasy. Should give us all a good laugh.

    nothing.... is just very important
nothing of any possibility of processing the oil in the continent
nothing but you are going to get the most expensive oil: extract from overseas and put it in a vessel...risky very risky 14000 km and very expensive
nothing of using our ports and our waters with the oil
nothing but the most complicated situation for you if there is an environmental problem, you are so frequently having
lots of money on prevention nobody is going to help you
and how much oil, nobodies knows exactly
Its complicated for you very complicated...and you are making an unilateral decission

    Malen_
Why would we need to ship or process oil in S America? Proven cheapest method for offshore in 21st century isFloating Platform SDystem - S America ports NOT required.

Who says Oil will go back to UK- it will depend on who buys it.

Environmental problems we are having? - Please LIST them - actually it will be a short list as answer to date is NONE.

Malen - you should do your research (something you Argies appear to struggle with).

Expensive - this will not be an expensive oil production area. It is not a deep water drill. As it is offshore then there are no land ownership issues and therefore no royalties to pay or mineral rights to negotiate.

Production - we already know this will be produced with a FPSO with the oil put straight onto tanker and then taken directly to who wants to finish the refining process. There are plenty of takers for medium grade crude (much cheaper to refine that the heavy grade Venezuelan rubbish).

The reason you will do “nothing” is that your gvt is both unable and unwilling to do anything. You seam unwilling to even start any legal procedings. Probably because you know this activity is legal and any such case would be thrown out. He he!

Amazing that more crap spends every waking hour on II hoping that the share prices drop and the rig sinks :)

Does the boy even have a social life, I think not, in other news, the drilling continues and Argentina squeals a bit more.

Argentina is exploring its waters for oil, maybe the solution to your barking mad jumping up and down rants about the UK doing the same would be to start processing the same objections over your oil explorations as you are of ours.

The problem with you morons is - that like Nazi's - you are only capable of seeing one side.

The problem with the British is we are too soft, having lived in a peaceful democratic island for so long we tend to be too accepting of people.

What we should be doing is standing our ground.

Like all fascists you jump up and down, every time you see your flag. This is your one greatest weakness. nationalism doesn't make you right, just blind to what is right and wrong.

As a proportion of the population Argentina has the largest number of boyous nationalists, in other words the largest proportion of fascists in the world.

To simplify this statement, the largest number of morons, raving loons and flag waving brain dead zombies.
