    Wooooooooow………….

There must be so much “Black Gold” in this new “North Falkland Basin Oil Province” that they don’t even need drilling units like the Ocean Guardian to find it………….

    Or maybe not…………

    Chuckle chuckle®

Well, by the amount of whining Argentina has done over the last year or so on this issue, it would be ironic if they found none after all. The Falklanders explored their region's possibilities, and they may come up trumps. Or not. You win some, you lose some. Either way, since your president chewed up the mutual agreement between the Falklands and Argentina on oil in a fit of rage, no doubt after running out of carpet to chew, you stand to gain nothing from it whatsoever.

    Ohhh yesssssssssssss…….

If no oil, in commercial quantities, is found in Malvinas, then Argentina wins big.

This “British Oil Prospection Campaign”, started in 2010 in the South-Atlantic, was a huge “Wake Up Call” for the whole of Latin-America.
We all can see now what the old “British Lion” really is after.
A big diplomatic and economical “Gaffe” from London in a time where they seriously need new friends and partners.

    Anyhow….The pressure is mounting...................
You better exercise that proverbial “Stiff Upper Lip” and your “British Humor”, dear chaps.................... because the joke will soon be on you.

“If no oil, in commercial quantities, is found in Malvinas, then Argentina wins big”

Not really Think ... things just go back to the way they were before.

    There is no 'pressure'.

Which is why the British Government ignores Argentina.

And the 'joke' has always been - Argentina :-)

    ….The pressure is mounting...................

Would this pressure be the re-iterating of decade old statements by close neighbours with economic links to Argentina.........within the frame work of Latin American circles?

So 2 years on from this “awakening” in Latin America....what has happened? eeeeeerm I think we are very thin on the ground for actions or any coercion from the combined diplomatic, political and economic might of Latin America into:

    A) Halting the exploration.
    B) Forcing the UK to the negotiating table.
    C) Silencing those pesky islanders on the world stage.
    D) Destruction of the islanders economy.
    E) Making the Islands part of Argentina.

In fact what exactly has Argentina succeeded in doing to obtain its singular obsession with gaining sovereignty? apart from completely and utterly cutting itself from the potentially lucrative up and coming hydrocarbon industry, and threatening to ban its own veterans and families of the deceased from visiting the islands.......Not alot really Argentina is all mouth but no action :)

Oh and another oil rig is on its way......oooh such pressure, whatever will happen next will Argentina say some more comically inaccurate statements :)

The fact of the matter remains the only pressure that exists from Argentina is the pressure of waiting for what hilarious statement Arguello will come up with next.

If the Joke will soon be on the UK and the Islanders, I guess we are safe for the next hundred years at least, since “soon” in Argentine political language means “never” 1997, 2000, 2004, 2007 were the last dates earmarked by successive presidents for the years when the Malvinas would be Argentina's again hahahaha, Joke is quite clearly on you Thunk :) Any more mundane statements?
