Italy agrees to EC and IMF monitoring of budget reforms in support of the Euro

Italy has agreed to allow the European Commission and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to monitor its implementation of budgetary reforms that would cut state spending and raise revenue in a bid to prevent the sovereign debt crisis from spreading to the Euro zone’s third largest economy.     @3 You know that Silvio Berlusconi called Angela Merkel 'an unfuckable lard-arse'? Well, he clearly thought the opposite of CFK, looking her up and down and adjusting his tie. It was so obvious he thought he had a chance it was priceless. : ) I expect he gave her a copy of his new CD of corny love songs.
