Kiwisarse- Maybe you don't realise that Battle Day commemorates the Battle of the Falklands in 1914, which means that this now is the 97th anniversary. There is no reason to believe that there will not be a centenary (followed by a second and third, etc).

Things are going so well in the UK that they have to decide between: food to live and being eaten, or military to live miserably but without being eaten by their enemies (that until there's no more money). Nice job :)

And we still have more money than Argentina!

And we still have a better financial rating than Argentina!

And we are still more powerful and influential than Argentina.

And - we pay our debts, unlike Argentina !

Exbrain - you need to see the BG picture - you'll find out how small you are !

ExBrain - I have no wish to bomb Argentina, but if Argentina wants to play with fire then she'll have to accept any consequences. Argentina played with fire in 1982 and men died as a result.

We have to hope that you learnt something.

As for what is happening in Europe you need to understand a couple of things. Britain joined the EEC, an open market arrangement. Ideas about a federalist super-state have always left us cold. What happened last week was that Britain decided she wanted the open market but not anything else. Certainly not further monetary union, so Britain vetoed a Treaty of all and left the others to come to their own deal.

That is what sovereignty is all about.

If Europe wants to go in a different direction that's up to them.

For all the doomsayers, the reality is that last week Europe did nothing to resolve the present crisis. They looked to the future and did sod all about today.

Their problem is, if they don't solve today's problems, then there ain't no future for them anyway.

    Britain will watch with interest.

Rest assured that we have no wish to bomb Argentina, or anywhere else, although we are prepared to do so if provoked.
By contrast, Argentina (especially Botox Queen) is so full of Anger wanting to occupy the “Malvinas”, having seen them and leaving little inconveniences such as them being already owned aside, they have a tantrum when THEY realise they can do nothing.
