Do you see now why I tell you don't worry? CFK believes that the armed forces are just a game, so she needs to be a good feminist and throw some women in the middle.

Where are the female generals? I don't know, but there are lots of transexuals in the army now, do they count as females? Thank you Crista!

lf the Argentine Forces have a few more women in control, we might have to be on guard a bit more. Well they certainly couldn't make a bigger mess than the men did in 1982.

Well we all know the argentine men were cowards and failed in 1982, so CFK's logic would be to send in the women as part of any future plan she may have for invading the islands.;-))

    to #4 Teaboy2,

Although American, I have a strong “British Heritage”. Yes, the UK won the war, but it was not a free ride either!. In military circles in the USA, we knew that if Argentina had put pressure on the British Fleet for another week or so.....the story could have been a bit different. Remember that: 23 Mirage Cs, (from Israel + 400 gal. external tanks+ air-air missiles) and 10 Mirage V (Peru + 30 air-ground missiles) were delivered too late to enter the conflict....
There are winners and losers in wars, it is the human cost that is always bitter!

    Hope that helps

Although Argentinian , I have spent 24 years of my life here in the US and I can tell you that my country was never going to win that war ever.

    Sir, you have my admiration.

A lone Argentinean who speaks the truth from his heart with the proper regard towards his country.

The other Argentineans on this site should heed your words with respect, I only hope this is the case.

@atk357 - I am more than aware that they are two sides in a war and that each suffer, it is not just those that thought in the falklands that have seen war you know.

My comments were not ment to offend and were purely meant to add humour regarding the article, hence the ;-) in my comments. If you were some how offended then i apologise, but i do have the deepest respect for those that have served in the armed forces expecially in war zones no matter what side they are on.

As for your comments regarding pressure on the british navy, would have resulted in the british losing. Err i do not think so, even if they had had any new fighters and had brought in to service, though unlikely given it would have taken months for them to be ready and have pilots trained to fly them, we still would have had enough harriers to tackle them, plus by the end, if such figthers had exsited and had been a risk to the fleet, am sure they would have been orders to commence bombing raids on argentina airforce airfields. Truth is, there were five flights in total from Tel Aviv to Buenos Aires via Lima, loaded with equipment such as gas masks, radar warning systems to prevent fire from enemy missiles, air to air missiles, duvet jackets and spare parts.

Additional fuel tanks for fighter bombers supplied by Israel were particularly important for Argentina's war effort as they enabled pilots to fly to the Falklands and return to the Argentine mainland without stopping.

There was no supply of any aircraft though, as all planes they had bought from isreal were purchased in the decade before the war. And even with the external fuel tanks their planes could only get as far as the islands and back, they could not go beyond the islands or enter long dog fights without running out of fuel.

News Flash! First results of Cristina's politics on “Homosexual as Police Officers”: In Province of San Juan, a homosexual police officer Drag Queen was found dead stabbed five times in his police car, apparently he was WORKING! He also got his throat cut open with a rusty knife. Those people are not ready to do these kind of service as police officers or in the army, they get horny with men or women (if lesbians) and they get murdered.

    This is connected somehow?

This is exellent news because the straigh female mix will dillute the unwanted homos already comming to this blog to make a fool of themselves as all perverts do, San Juan is a great province, with great people and for what I hear just now they seem to have high morals and standards for men.
#18 maybe that particular police officer deserve it, most countryes not used to homosexuals still believe homos are perverts, and I support that believe since I am stright and never need to tell anyone regarding my sex life, nor does anyone ask because it's private and confidential, I am sure had this homo kept his privacy he would still be alive today, stupid is as stupid does, Argentina can't be blamed due to stupid people.
