Uruguay Navy says there is no legal impediment for Falklands’ flagged vessels to operate in Montevideo
A report from the Uruguayan Coast Guard argues there is no legislation impeding Falklands/Malvinas flagged vessels from operating in the port of Montevideo. The report was handed to the Uruguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is drafting a protocol regarding what ships can and which can’t access Uruguayan ports. Read full article

It is very clear that Falkland Islands are Argentinian. Studying a little of history and geography, it´s enough to realize of that. Of course, in the world some countries believe that have good reasons to steal territories (England) but really only have the military power to impose their interests.

Oh and please stop trying to tell us english people what know or don't know as i think you will find that the islanders are also english and they have the right to remain so under the UN Charter which includes the right to the islands themselves. And i can tell you now the vast majority of the english people support the islanders. So i suggest you go troll your crap elsewhere or at least do some real research as i think you will find history is on our side and geography does not even play a part in it.
As for the article itself. it looks like the urguayan Navy is turning against their president in support of the islanders and the Spanish vessels, after all they did escoort one such vessel to international waters when it was threaten by an argentina coast guard vessel. Or perhaps on the president of urguay supports argentina in public but behind the scenes is in full support of britain and the islanders. Its one way of playing political poker to get want he wants from argentina i suppose.

The Coast Guard need a law to authorise their actions. So now Mujica has got to get this through the legislature.

The current status was imposed using the military force, but without valid arguments. Therefore, the explanation of this status doesn´t give any arguments in favour of UK. Please note that in a lot of cases the country who win a war has more power to tell its partial history, than the one who lost the war. However, a good thing is that taking into a account the weakness of the argumements of the UK there are a lot of people (and increasingly) around the world that don´t believe its partial version of the story.

Here, Piñera pat the CFK shoulders with any sign on a paper meanwhile do what is better for us, the Chilean people.
What is valid with the Argentine claim is what ICJ can state if it´s asked for some day and no other countries must decide the Islands inhabitants future up to that day.
Talk table is not a good idea because both of them have already determined what is their own goal about the sovereignity of the Islands and won´t change their minds talking vainly.
The final solution is a court veredict based on facts and laws and no other.
