Uruguay suggests changing to the red ensign for Falklands’ vessels to operate in Montevideo
No changes are needed in current legislation to bar vessels flying the Malvinas flag from entering Uruguayan ports, but Uruguay also speculates that if the vessels change to the English flag there will be no problems, according to a report from the Foreign Affairs ministry. Read full article

Property prices in Argentina have fallen like a rock while Uruguay's skyrockets from the migration of money. Argentines don't trust their own government. Who would when you look at history. I still can't believe there are some Argentines (or are they from some other poor SA country?) who support their government. Is the government promising to throw you another bag of rice from the bandwagon?

If you want to deny the people of the FI this right then you would need to do so at the ICJ. The Argentine gvt appear to chicken out on this, bit like Marcos and Think chickening out of me little wagers (must be a national trait).
Regarding oil, there are huge amount of oil and we will find out how much when sealion becomes a books asset in the next three months :-) If it is not oil then I suppose we have found a new black and sticky combustable substance under the sea bed.
