This is NOT the UK racking up the political pressure on Argentina and actively raising tensions over the Falklands.

The revelations are simply the release of the 30 year documents into the public domain. This is the law in the UK.

The 1982 war was exactly 30 years ago so previously unseen documents from that year find their way to the media exactly now, at the start of the year 2012.

Good job Australia. Although being displaced from your home is a terrible thing, I'm glad to know that a lovely country such as Australia was willing to accept newcomers. Long live the commonwealth!

a penal colony will never forget what the mother nation did to them nor will they forget their brothers being used as ponds in a war. most nations support the repatriation of their civilians only UK strips them of thier birth rights or even their human rights, the illegal aliens in Islas Malvinas Argentina should go home home or get documented as everyone else in the planet does.

tell that to the thousands of criminals in our prisons, and to their ouwn countries who dont want them back,

@12 “ponds” What does that mean?

“UK strips them of thier birth rights or even their human rights”. Once you are in someone else's country, you have no birth rights. And there are no such things as “human rights”.

Yep, the illegal aliens (descendents of imperialist colonialists) in argentina should go home to Spain or Italy or get documented by a proper nation.
