Uruguay's inflation rate rose in January 0.74% from December as housing, hotel and restaurant prices jumped, the national statistics agency, INE, reported this week. The consumer price index rose 8.05% on the year at the end of January, INE said. Read full article

Feb 04th, 2012 - 11:11 am - Link - Report abuse 0Until the fiscal drag of this lot is addressed and at least half of them converted to productive work in the private sector, thus raising the real tax take significantly, inflation will always be a problem.
