“With the merger, the resulting LATAM Airlines is expected to become the biggest in the region and one of the 10 biggest airlines in the world in terms of revenue.”

Do you read that, you dumb f##k chilean indian (Manclown)? A MERGER. I repeat for you a merger, a word with totally different meaning and word properly used for what it is..a Merger. That's why both airlines will work together under one corporate name but seperate under their own brand and seperate HQ.

Drink more diet coke or coca cola light as they call it there in Chile, to pump up your low self esteem.

I've never flown LAN (I nearly did once, but I booked through Quantas and they changed my one LAN flight for someone that I'd never heard of before or since). Anyone know if I've missed out on anything good (like the Air New Zealand in-flight safety videos, which are actually entertaining enough to want to watch, rather than everyone else's that are enough to make you want to render yourself unconcious after the first 20 seconds)?

I only feel sorry for the poor arguments of the inhabitants of the Falklands for JOINING only wealth that belongs to Argentina. Hopefully the law will prevail not only the strongest will prevail but also history, geographical reasons and international law only reason to give the Argentine claim. And the ground made the bogus self-determination. (this right is only when you're a native, is not the case invaded the islands in 1833 and the English settlers brought)

@3 they are light years ahead of Aerolineas but the feeding on their internal flights is pretty bad..... . .... a hyper rich alfojoree thingo ... and a packet of nuts.... and coffee in a polystyrene cup...... that's on a three or four hour flight.
You expect that on crappo discount airlines but not when paying a premium fare....

    Fido Dido you are wrong.

yes Lan and Tam will “merge “ into a new company named ”Latam” but Latam belong to a holding guess who is the owner of the holding Latam

I don´t know why you deny the reality but the truth is simple Tam is now in Chileans hands if you dont believe me here is the link

    http://www.latamairlines.com/downloads/English/Home/press_release_latam_english_final.pdf

Latam owns 20% of the voting right of Tam (Brazilian law) but Latam also owns 100% of the no voting rights (economical rights) so that means that Latam owns Tam but Tam holds the administration right but all the economical rights (revenues) is owned by Latam and Latam is a CHILEAN COMPANY

    Face it
