The head of Brazil’s soccer federation resigned on Monday two years before the South American country hosts the World Cup, putting an end to a 23-year career marked by an unmatched championship record over that period and accusations of corruption off the field.     It was a mystery that he lasted so long - google the piauí controversy if you want to know about this man.

    He is trying to covince us that he gave his life soul and health to the benefit of Brazilian football but is too ill to continue - when in fact he was a corrupt fool. He must be gutted that after 23 years he's got the boot just before Brazil holds the world cup at last.

    Brazilians should be relieved that he is gone - he would have embarassed you.
