This is becoming more disturbing by the minute! Argentina, you truly are on a Fuhrerific path. What next? Black leather for the military?

As to the evil which results from a censorship, it is impossible to measure it, for it is impossible to tell where it ends.
    Jeremy Bentham

Funny enough written in 1832 :-)

Nothing surprises me about censorship and attempts at media control in today´s atmosphere in Argentina.

Apologise for my error - above quote was not written in 1832! Thats when Bentham died.

now it will be interesting to see how the RG press cover this, especially in light of KFC's controversial relationship with them in the past.

I found this lovely picture of minister De Vido wearing his best suit (http://content6.flixster.com/photo/13/79/64/13796436_sma.jpg).

Why didn't the Argsoc Ministry of Truth know he was coming on air earlier?

When a government looks and acts like it is, you call it what it is -
    a growing DICTATORSHIP!

Mad psychotic bitch is the best term for Cristina Fernández de Kirchner the current disaster president of Argentina!
Others around Cristina Kirchner that are also crooks are her vice-president, Amado Boudou, he is actually an owner of the company that prints money for the government in Argentina, a major conflict of interest, but he denies it, he owns the company in the names of other friends and associates. He is being investigated and surely will end up in jail where he belongs. Cristinas 2 VERY UGLY children, Maximo and Florencia Kirchner, are also very corrupt. Maximo owns all kinds of hotels and properties adn Florencia is a film student in New York and lives in a luxury Park Avenue apartment and is known for major cocaine use. Some of us who know her in New York remember how she always used to tell us how her parents have a bank account drawn on the Nation of Argentina and for her family money is no object. These 2 corrupt children of Cristina Kirchner are self proclaimed “militants”, they belong to 2 internal terrorist groups which Cristina Kirchner finances, “La Cámpora” and “Quebracho”. “La Cámpora” goes around to the poor shantytowns around the cities in Argentina and gives the poor people a bag of groceries, a sausage sandwich called “choripan” and $20 pesos to buy their votes. These people have no choice but to accept this as they are extremely poor and have no other hope. “Quebracho” is a terrorist group which Cristina Kirchner pays to protect her, they disguise their faces and go around shaking down businesses to get money and give back to the president. They are also responsible for drug dealing, robberies and murders.

@9 It's not freedom of media here, it's the fact that the media is so controlled and entangled with the portrayal of a government line that they actively seek to remove any freedom of speech. Like what were they so scared of this man saying?

Argentinian media is pretty much modeled on the Chinese media circus, which in turn was modeled on Goebbels' model.

And Think, don't you have a comment on this all the while calling everybody “fuckface”, etc.? What about Fido Dido, the Dutchman who lives in the U.S., yet loves Argentina more than life itself.... Where are you guys? Chime in on this.

I am listening Daniel Hadad, main manager of C5N Channel right now on the radio. He is explaining that the cutting of the TV show was done by workers of the channel, with NO ORDER FROM ANY MEMBER OF THE GOVERNMENT. A not very smart worker at the channel cut it off because it had many minutes overlapping on the following tv-show and Longobardi (the interviewer never uses the earphone and nobody could advice him that he was running out of time)

Even if the Government doesn't like these comments of Alberto Fernandez CAN ANYONE THINK THAT THEY ARE GOING TO BE SO CHILDISH to censure this and give all these lyers the excuse to come up with headlines like this one in Mercopress accusing the Government of censure??

This is a REAL LIE, a not sophisticated at all one.

Appart from this... Alberto Fernandez has been giving opinions like these ones since long time ago in different interviews, he was not saying nothing new...

Why would the government do this?? Even if this HILARIOUS invention was true... what advantage would the Government get??

Come on people! think before believing this...

Maybe this idea of a censuring government is easy to believe from people that has the idea of a banana republic goverment that controls %100 of the media and has a real power to control the media.

The truth is that the corporate media is out of control, and a few corporate media have had a lot more power than the Governments in Argentina since the military junta...

Appart from this, Longobardi hasn't complaint about censure.

Come on people, think before believing this... it would be very st_pid from the government to do this... is is childish.

@18 I believe it. In a goebbelian run press, why wouldn't they be doing that.

The only question is, why do you find it to difficult to believe that this happened? why are you so quite to believe the deception afterwards?

@ 9 we're talking about the acts of the government of Cristina de Kirchner, you are an idiot.

@ 18 fermin, the lovevly Camporista, the peaceful soldier of Cristina de Kirchner. I love your fascist propaganda, funny, really.
When you don't have arguments, blame the media. Hilarious :)

@ 19 Fermin is part of the group La Campora, of course he will say he doesn't believe, the group La Campora is always behind these acts of censorship. De Vido is just a marionette, Máximo Kirchner is the man who gives the orders. Fermin is not here because he is an innocent Argentine fighting for the truth, Fermin is getting paid for this, basically with our money, they call themselves “militants”. These militants go where Cristina goes and give her all the applause she needs to make people believe she has all the support she's always talking about.

    (17) Mr Menendez

    You say……
”My fellow Countryman, don't expect the Generals that we have to the task .... we have no balls left in the Army anymore”

    I say:

Correct,.... Don’t expect the Teniente Generales, the Generales de Division, the Generales de Brigada, the Coroneles, the Tenientes Coroneles, the Mayores, the Capitanes, the Tenientes Primeros, the Tenientes, the Subtenientes, the Suboficiales Mayores, the Suboficiales Principales, the Sargentos Ayudantes, the Sargentos Primeros, the Sargentos, the Cabos Primeros, the Cabos, the Soldados de Primera or even the Soldados de Segunda to be “Up to that Task”……

But maybe one of those young, freshly graduated, females from the Colegio Militar de la Nación would do?…
In contraposition to their manly counterpart’s soft and breakable ”balls” their vaginas can take a real pounding……….

You got the ”Areperas de Campo de Mayo”…

    Ps:
Just for your info, there was NO CENSORSHIP of Mr. Fernandez at C5N,a very powerfull oposition TV channel….

The program was scheduled to end at 2300 hrs, but went nearly five minutes over time and it was ended by the operator in charge….

You can see the time for yourself on that little clock on the lower right corner of the video.
