Mar 28th, 2012 - 09:08 am - Link - Report abuse 0I smell a conspiracy - Offer Repsol $ 64 per barrel knowing they cannot/won't invest and make a profit at that price. Then withdraw concessions by the score making it impossible to invest - in what, with no concessions? Later they put out new tenders and who gets them? - Maximo and friends ( Kirchnerite Governors) Then use missing billions from Aerolinas and Reserve Bank cheap infrastructure loans - sanctioned by Presidential decree. Shortly afterwards the price is bumped up to $ 104 per barrel on the noble pretects that self-sufficiency is essential for Argentina's future and that the price increase is unavoidable and due to high investment costs. Viola! - the Kirchner Ripoffdom is assured for decades.
