What a change of attitude, what happened, Cristina? Daddy USA closed his hand around your neck, and now you're ou're struggling to breath. How sad.

maybe she can't get beef into the us as they suddenly cut off the people who used to buy it so they've gone elsewhere?

““We have to pay attention to these little trade wars and guerrillas, that we will try to address this in the most civilized and legal way possible” said the Argentine president in reference to the Obama administration’s decision,”

And referring to the USA as guerillas is really going to help....Not!

”The president also ratified that the goal of her economic model 'is growth that includes social inclusion' clarifying that “this isn’t just about any kind of growth.”

Is it about growth in her personal wealth? Is it about growth in the number of Maximo hotels? is it about growth in the number of park lane properties she owns?

What's socially inclusive about any of that? More argfaggotry.

What she means is that she is shit scared of the US and is gutted that they arent supporting her in her veiled attempt to deflect people's attention from her governments corruption and virtual bankruptcy.

@7 What she means is she has absolutely no power over the USA. She only has power over the small collection of satellite countries that Argentina is able to bully. She's going to try to play the international stateswoman but she's misjudged how much public opinion in the USA is against Argentina and painted themselves into a corner.

The USA was super happy to hear the Spanish and UK folks were turning against Argentina, because then it meant it could act appropriately by cancelling trade benefits, within the context of their economic nonsense.

Why can't they simply pay their bills? If they had any pride they would. It's not a huge number, unless the situation in Argentina is worse than INDEC reports, but they wouldn't lie, would they?

@10 because they're argentinians. They don't know about contractual law, property law, historical precedent, international law, SEC conditions on bond sales.... they just sign it, get the money and then renege on everything they say.

One more reason never to negotiate with them over any islands.

Whether they think they have to NOW go through ARG courts to ratify the judgement is irrelevant they signed off of use the WB rules and this case is over 10 YEARS OLD!
Just a bunch of deadbeat scumbags and they wonder why they have no FDI.
BTW I think there is an ARG trade mission here this week or next, I wonder if anyone will show up? I may go just to laugh at them.

@15 You can do what I do when I see Argentinians:

    a) pretend you're from Canada or somewhere
    b) get them to dance some 'I love Malvinas, Malvinas Argentinas' song and dance.
    c) tell them you're British and get your other British friends to laugh at them.
    d) look at them feeling very very awkward.

It's a lot of fun to see their machismo fail.

I undertand that you must be enjoying this kind of news, but let me tell you that it's much more a rediculous speculation than a big problem, the money in play is insignificant, and the decition by the u. s wont prejudice us so much.
You can continue buying the lies or the so partial information that is published in the media, in fact some you provide linkers to all the rest of us, in order t justify your comments. However, the soposed next crisis of the country is being expressed since years in argentina, anyway you have right to believe the lobby of the powerful corporations who since years try to push the government, in order to achieve that it accepts to go back to the i. m f. Meantime, despite all the problems that we still have, we will continue improving the situation of our people, because there still a lot to for our people.

We have to pay attention to these little trade wars and guerrillas

    [did we hear this correctly]
She was referring to the president of the United States of America and all his guerrillas,

She is totally deluded and living in a fantasy land,
We think she is fast becoming a danger to her own mind,

TWIMC (and to the “Big Boss” of MercoPress, Don G.M.)

Who the heck is doing your Spanish to English translations???

Cristina said: “GUERRITAS comerciales” (English: “Small trade wars”)
GUERRITAS (English: “Small wars”) ; not GUERRILLAS....

Please, Don G.M. do something :-)
Your translator is giving me a bad case of “Spanish Shame” (Spanish: “Vergüenza Ajena”)

    19. Oh you're back. Did you get your salary straighten out? I haven't heard anything? How do you plan to keep warm and clean this winter making (today) U$533/mo? You know if they devalue the peso (and I am hearing 14/1) you'll be making U$200mo but since you'll be getting more pesos you are richer...do I have that right? Isn't that how math works there?
Just had a friend back from the IDB conference in MDV so he went to BA for a couple of days. He told me there are closed stores all over the place and people walking around trying to get him to change Pesos for U$ on the streets!
Sounds great!! Good for you!! Keep it up!!

    YANKEE BOY.
You are crazy, aren't you?, i can't believe what you are saying, this is evident that you are not talking about argentina. Regarding my salary, and the subsides, i already answered you about those issues, and this is the last time i'm going to do it. Despite all the problems that we have everyyear, we always get a solution, and our salaries have rases higuer than the level of any index of inflation, like most workers in the country, respecting the subsides, i received yesterday the count of the electric service, i'm going to pay the same, the subsides are being eliminated for the rich people, but most retired people, and most middle class will keep them, i hope i was clear enough, because i wont repeat it.

    @29

the govt cant afford the subsidies thats why they are trying to steal REPSOL and are raiding the national bank of RG Land. However its suckers like you who keep The botox Queen in power. she is bribing you.

#29 Keep up the good work posting the real truth about Argentina, over here I instinctively know not to trust the sensationalist bollocks of Murdoch, mercopress et all but its still a real tonic to see what the reality is that thy are distorting. So for example that they are cutting subsidies to the rich, which seems sensible to me; the way its being reported over here is as if its some kind of savage neoliberal austerity, proving that no alternative model is possible after all even in a country committed to building one; and/or proof of a huge financial crisis. Of course it may notpersuade many of the closed minded people on here, but its good to hear the truth, and the truth of course casts my Queen in a better light than the lies

    29. So middle class makes U$500 a month!! You can't even buy a ticket out of that dump with a month of salary!
You didn't answer did you get your raise? Are you still on strike? How do you afford internet? Or do you have a 2nd job at a locutorio?
FYI when you started negotiations your salary would have been $U622 today just a few week later it is $533..you feel richer?
BTW I give it 6 more months before all subsidies are gone for everyone, they start with the rich then everyone is considered rich. Do you know nothing of a socialist/progressive agenda?

THE CESTRAIN. BRITISH KIRCHNERIST. YANKEE BOY.
THE CESTRAIN: Your comment is just one more show of your doble standart and ignorance. You say that the government can't pay the subsides, and that's why it's trying to steal repsol, but what you omit is that repsol ypf haven't inverst for years, and the production of oil and gas diminished, dont you think that the enterprize has been prejudicing us?, however you dont say a word about it, there is your doble standar again, what should any government do, according to your opinion?. Beside, since the first day, it clarified that most middle class, and most retired people will keep the subsides.
YANKEE: The agreement was already signed, and there is not any strike, i wont explain again about our salaries because i already did it, on the other hand, the government said since the first day it started to eliminate the subsides, that most middle class, and most retired people will keep them, only rich people, and high middle class will loss them .
BRITISH KIRCHNERIST: You are right on most you say, but i think that mercopress is a good website, it tells almost everything about argentina, unless it's more serious than the conservative newspapers that we have here.

    33. That is very strange I can't find 1 news article saying what the new teacher's salary rate is for 2012. Can to share the amount? Are you making over U$550/mo? (remember the new gray exchange rate is 5.34/1U$)

Do you think CFK is going to pre-announce the withdrawal of subsidies from the middle class? You are retarded right?

Unlike the votes your “queen CFK” buys pre election, a few pesos in the poorer suburbs enables a healthy though corrupt win.
