The US government finally broke silence regarding the YPF controversy and expressed “deep concern’ over the expropriation plans. A State Department spokesman said on Wednesday the plans “could have an adverse effect on the Argentine economy.” Read full article

China is the one currently trying to squeeze oil out of everything, so I'd say they're going to end up in bed with the PRC. Sadly the Chinese like to use their own resources to create the infrastructure and investments and remember to bill suitable amounts for he benefits of using chinese resources.

While a leader like Pol Pot might have an absurd overblown personality cult (though Pol Pot himself actually didn't, he was so paranoid he kept his identity secret from the population even after he took power!), the kind of fan made, laid back videos I showed really don't fit with the “dictator” image do they. And then, as well as the beauty, theres her fresh andvibrant attitude that shines through them; as one of the videos was called, she's “the most rocker president” =)
