    The Falkland Islands are heading confidently forward towards 2020 and beyond whereas Argentina is regressing back to the Peronist nightmare of the 1950's. Wait till 'real oil' kicks in in the Falklands as compared to the confused wasted opportunities in Argentina !

    @ 1 agreed. As the Argentines take on the world the Falklands move forward in all other ways, transparently and with good on their side, as evidenced this morning by further fantastic news of a second hydrocarbons province discovery in the South Falklands Basin by Borders & Southern Petroleum plc. Roll on the next discoveries...

    Yes it was!!

    Both HMS Fearless and HMS Intrepid were going to be scrapped as ( in his own words ) John Nott said “Britian will not become involved in those kinds of wars ever again”

    Which proves, to a man, what a bunch of idiots the conservatives were and still are.........

    Still don't get how he got a Knighthood
