Says it all - Timmerman get back in your box, but before doing so you might like to utter a few words of praise for another fantastic hydrocarbons province discovery to the south of the Falklands. Arg is loosing the war of words and the Falklands is winning all the hydrocarbon discoveries. Perhaps Reposl might like to step sideways into the Falklands and leave the Arg to its utter disconnect and re-found pariah status!

The future for the Falklands looks very positive.

If the Argentinians, under Nestor Kirchener, had not been so pigheaded and stupid, they could be sharing in the future benefits of oil exploration on these islands....the Peronistas have scored an own goal, which certainly doesn't help their country at all.

    9. The Brits do not need any of your “huge” shale oil gas. I'm sure they can get oil at a fair price from the Falkland Islands huge oil deposits. Which after todays news of further discoveries, seems to be getting “huger.” Don't you just love good news. Whats that loud noise I hear? Oh I know. It's the sound of investors, beating down the door of the Falkland Islands Government.

@16 So it's payback time is it? Bring it on mate! We are not interested in a war with Argentina. We are only interested in protecting the rights of a small but vibrant community which is being bullied by an aggressive foreign power (Argentina, in case you were wondering). We offered to share resources with you ten years ago, but your stupid government tore up the agreement just before it was signed. Your fault really...

@7 One problem with your comment - you can't steal your own natural resources. The oil is within Falklands territorial waters, so it belongs to the Falklanders. Hague is right - Argentina has no basis on which to sue these companies, as what the companies are doing may well be illegal under Argentine law, but Argentina law has no jurisdiction in the Falklands, which are not a part of Argentina. It would be like Britain sending a police officer over to America and arresting anyone who had a gun, because carrying one is illegal under British law. You see how ridiculous that sounds? Well it's the same in this case.

We still think David and William should visit the Falklands,
This would I feel achieve two very important things,
1, it would show the islanders and the world, the British government can and will visit any part of British territory without threat or hindrance,

2, It would irritate and very much upset CFK and leave her screaming in frustration.

It´s means: If you have any investment on Argentina mainland and, SORRY, YOU CAN USE THIS LETTER TO CLEAN YOUR ASS AND YOUR TEARS-
We can offer one hot tea, earl grey of course, and aspirin-

LOVELY!!! I´m sure HSBC and others companies (this bank has 1.200.000 customers in Argentina), are very “chill out” now whit this letter!

    Isolde:
Why you always says the same?
Our peso now is $4,40 (OFFICIAL) or $5 eachDOLLAR-
Cual es tu base para pensar que ira a $100? do you have very good arguments in economics for that?
The thing is: how many things you can get whit OUR peso:
Example: where I live, you can get, whit $30 (6-7 dollars) 1 kilo of meat-
    You know, caws?
    BANANAS: $10 kilo
    Tomatoes: idem
    Patatoes: $4 (cheap) or $6
    Carrots: $ 6-8 depending quality.
    OIL: REGULAR $6 liter
    Subte: $3 each travel

Considering regularvery very basic (because some industries win double for workers) income close to $4000, you can eat , travel and rent something....we are not rich, but you can live-

Now, tell me..... soja is today U$545- we produce 45 million tons-
Our debts is 35-40% of our PBI.
Do you have an idea about macroeconomics of Argentina?
NO, you dont have any idea- ANY IDEA BABY-

Try whit COME social situation (yes, we need to get better), etc.

    @49 Rosarino
What you do is indoctrinate your children, North Korean style.

    The truth is:
Argentina is just as far from Spain and Italy where you Criollos are from, as the Falklands are from Britain.

Argentina is “okupas” on land stolen from the Indians.

When the British first arrived in the S Atlantic/ Antarctic they were uninhabited, unexplored and unclaimed regions. The British had their first settlement there when Argentina was still the Governorate of the River Plate, part of the Vice Royalty of Peru. Extending maybe a 100 miles south from BA.

Argentina/Chile had to “Conquer” the Southern Cone to get to be neighbours of the British in the S Atlantic/Antarctic.

However unlike Atahualpa , the British have more than just bows and arrows with which to defend their territory.

And don’t think that when you broke away from Spain you magically became natives in that part of the world. You only changed your names from Spanish to Argentinian/Chilean.

You did not change your Genetic code.

The Islander have more right to be where they are, than you have to be where you are.

Pugol and Usurping, make me laugh a lot!
more blablablabla about Chile and Argentina living in INDIAN lands....what about you and your Colonos of the noth of Americas.... oh, i´m laughing a lot and my balls too-
So you think now whe are okupas of south america....new reasons to occupied more territories maybe?
Or to put in Patagonia or Tierra del Fuego a new military base?

We don´t change our name idiot: we figth for our freedom, Chileans and Argentinians, and you never can understand that-
We use our blood, our balls, and opur brains, to be a free country, Chile and Argentina-
Falklanders ONLY go there whit ships, kicking our people, and 180 years later you have the same people, sayng “oh, i´m british people”....even they can´t recpgnize theirselves as south americans..... what a bunch of psicologist you will need when the argentina flag stay there again-
Ask to any chilean guy if they believe the same as you...and then go to G77 (132 countries of the wolrd) and say the same.....

    @ 52 Rosarino
Did you not read my posting or just not understand it! The British were there long before 180 years ago.

And long before you were “use our blood, our balls, and our brains, to be a country free to “Conquer the Desert””.

The British claimed the Islands, Du Jure 1690, De Facto 1765.

Argentina did not exist until 1810 – 1816.

The British recovered the Islands in 1833, from and Argentinian invasion.

You cannot call the Islanders “okupas” without calling into question your own tenure of the land you now call Argentina.

You are a European settler just as the Islanders are, the difference is The Falklands were unoccupied when the British first arrived there.

The S Atlantic is, and always has been, British territory.

Argentina is a S American country, recently arrived on the borders of the British S Atlantic.

    Saludos

    @53 Pugol-H,
We've been over this ground many times with fools like Rosarino.
They don't like the truth because they live in a fantasy world of lies.
Dr Goebblels would be proud of them.
A little bit of research would prove to them just how wrong they are.
But they won't do it because they need the fantasy in their lives & cannot face the truth.
l wonder whether it is worth it to debate with them.
    l don't think it is.
However it makes us stronger in refuting their lies.
l agree with everything that you posted.

It is good to see that the Falkland Islanders are getting on with the job of developing their natural resources and that the British Government is supporting these endeavours.

Their fishing industry is booming and now it looks like they are on the threshold of a hydrocarbon bonanza. These sturdy people are getting the good breaks that they deserve and are prospering notwithstanding the spoiling actions and vitriol coming from the Argentine.

Get over it Argentina, you nave lost (again).
