French President Nicolas Sarkozy faces an uphill struggle in the second round of the presidential election, after coming second in Sunday's first vote. He won only 27.1% of the vote, while his socialist rival Francois Hollande took 28.6%, the first time a sitting president has lost in first round. Third-place Marine Le Pen took the largest share of the vote her far-right National Front has ever won with 18.1%. Read full article

Are quite alright Max? What does the French presidential election have to do with England, I just don't see any correlation at all. Can you explain the connection please?

I think 'Max' is a bot, but a Mk I version and so cannot ineract very well and you may have noticed that 'his' logic and knowledge of history is screwed.

Just like the Argie 'programmers' who are trying their best to get a bot running and thus cut the cost of paying the likes of 'I don't Think' and 'Dunni-Burger' et al to post here.

I must apologise to all the European, American and Indian computer programmers who know what they are doing, by using the word 'programmer' next to 'Argie', who do not.

    Max,
Although l agree that French cheese is better, there are some very nice English cheeses.
lt depends on your personal taste.
l like French food a lot, but you cannot beat the sunday roasts from Yorkshire.
Roast Beef, roast & boiled potatoes, peas, carrots & Yorkshire pudding, all covered with thick rich gravey.
Dad always cooks sunday dinner & he is a master at it. Yum
