    @3 Max, what's the time! :o)

@2 Dany, Dany, you are a complete simpleton. You actually believe the lies your government tell you.

Since you can't defend your governments stance, you feel that all you can do is attack the UK. Well even at are financial worst, we are a 1000 times better off than Argentinians.

And why do you constantly harp on and take little digs at muslims? Are you a racist who has a problem with muslims? Why is this? Are you scared that the big bad muslim might hurt you? Aww!

The truth is that you government illegally sieze YPF, have imposed riduclous 'fines' on Repsol so they don't actually have to pay for the shares (that's stealing - thou shalt not steal!), which is completely contrary to your OWN constitution! Then you change your constitution to make the seizure legal and apply it retrospectively!

It really beggars belief. Never mind, Dany, you'll soon be starving on the streets burning your worthless Argentine money to keep warm, because it's certain that very soon it won't be worth the paper it's printed on.

    The headline should read:

'Euphoric Argentine lawmakers celebrate making a mockery out of the law and the constitution!'

The Argentine government won't abide by it's OWN laws, and it won't abide by international law. They are the true enemies of Argentina and are currently destroying Argentina from within. It's a pity the general population don't see them for what they truly are.

Right, do they really think, having seen this shameless stealing and complete disregard for their own laws, and the sight of so many of their countrymen Cheering them on while they do it, that the Islanders will be falling over themselves to be a part of Argentinaland?

Argentine fishermen are 'dining on our dolphins' caught illegally in the Falklands Islands waters

Animals being 'hauled on board trawlers after becoming trapped in nets in Falklands Islands waters' -Wildlife experts believe fisherman are slicing fillets before throwing bodies back into the sea
    By: AFP
    PUBLISHED: 4 May 2012 |

Callous Argentine fishermen are eating steaks carved from dolphins which have been illegally caught in the South Atlantic Channel, conservationists claim.
Experts believe the animals are being hauled on board trawlers after becoming trapped in nets off the Falklands Islands waters.
Fillets of flesh are then sliced off to be eaten before the bodies of the highly intelligent mammals are callously tossed back into the water.

Threat: Common dolphins seen off the Falklands coats. Wildlife experts have accused Argentine fisherman of eating the animals
Since the beginning of January, Falklands Wildlife Trust's Marine Strandings Network has examined and recorded 50 dead dolphins and porpoises. Just under half, 23, showed distinct signs of having died in fishing gear.

A common dolphin, examined on the beach at in early April, one of five discovered in the same week, showed scars typical of a large trawler net from which it presumably tried to escape. A spokesman for South Atlantic Wildlife Trust said: 'A large fillet of flesh had been removed from the back - presumably for eating. 'This is a known practice on Argentine boats and Argentine pair trawlers were working close to the Islands waters at the time. 'The dolphin's tail had been cut off in the course of cutting the animal free from a winch strop which was used to lift it over the side of the boat.

Nothing will happen with Argentina, it happened in the past and big companies are going to continue investing in that great country. Argentina is not perfect, the same as the UK, and the rest of the world, so what? I cannot imagine anyone representing any country of the world ( maybe Norway, Sweden and a couple more are exceptions ) giving lectures on how to behave with others.

I've come to the conclusion that the Argentines are actually a long lost tribe of Muppets. It would explain why they act in such a farcical manner, why Timerman bears an uncanny resemblance to Bunsen and why they are all such angry people. After all, it can't be much fun walking around with somebody’s hand up your arse all day. The one exception to the rule being Christina Fernandez, obviously there's no room for a hand when she's already got her head stuck so far up there!

Really, this “economic” presumptuousness is getting to me at this point.

Eurozone is heading back into crisis, with Spain and the regional finances, but also surprisingly the Netherlands having a government crisis, possibility of France getting tired of austerity, Greece still in the background, and other issues:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/03/ecb-rates-idUSL5E8G298T20120503

the UK had 7 negative growth quaters (that's two years), a modestly acceptable recovery (which merely only cut in to the prior GDP loses, it wasn't “genuine” growth), and now it is lying on its back again:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/03/ecb-rates-idUSL5E8G298T20120503

United States growth stalls in 2012, job growth sharply lower in the last months than in late 2011:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/03/ecb-rates-idUSL5E8G298T20120503

So I would suggest my distressed economic friends that you start getting really worried that your nations are entering yet another crisis, when they barely just got out of another one. One year of growth after 3-4 years of collapse, followed by another collapse = sh!t.

Oh and yeah... another shooting 4 dead. Funny yankeeboy which was so eager last week to report nine INJURIES in argieland from a shooting (the first of its kind in 5 years), seems to go hiding under a rock here.

Or maybe its just tacit admission that mass shootings in the USA are like daily protests in BA.

    Rather take the protets.

@33 - BK - I know that since the Argentine government constantly lies that it is difficult to get to the truth, but the Argentine economy is in the toilet.

There is a possibility it could be saved if the government introduced some fiscal policies to stop the money haemorrhaging into nothingness.

There are several reasons this won't happen:

    1. Any fiscal policies would include cuts, which would be unpopular - and the Argentine government is only surviving by a thread on a populist movement.
    2. The Argentine government massively relies on bribing people to get things done.
    3. The Argentine government is massively corrupt, and they're all skimming as much money as they can into their own off-shore bank accounts.
    4. The Argentine government lies about the state of the economy, and inflation, so subsidises products, so the people of Argentina don't realise that inflation is running at 30%.
    5. The Argentine government never thinks long term and only thinks of the 'quick fix', that see's them lurching from 1 financial crises to the next.
    6. The Argentine government relies heavily on the 'distraction' method to divert attention away from what is actually happening - hence the hysterionics regarding the Falkland Islands (the Junta did the EXACT same thing in 1982).
    7. The Argentine government imposes illegal trade restrictions, mis-appropriates foreign assets, steals the pension plan of the people, breaks their own laws and constitution, and then rewrite said laws and constitution and apply them retrospectively.

However, the UK government isn't any of these things. They don't need to lie about the financial situation to the people. They are not afraid to make unpopular fiscal policies if that's what it takes to keep the country in the black. They follow the rule of international law.

Yup, I stand by what I said in post @32. Tell me BK, if the Argentine economy collapse within the next year, do you have enough integrity to admit that you were wrong?

    @LEPRecon

1- Yes what is the problem, but I said that in the following year “UK will face a debt external crisis” Spain Italy style and when talking about collapse is referring to financial sector. Because countries rarely collapse as they have tools to reinvent them self. They can devaluate, print money, print new currency, etc, etc. And if you have not noted that yet, UK financial sector already has collapsed. And that was the reason why they have bailouts.

2- “However, the UK government isn't any of these things.. They don't need to lie about the financial situation to the people”

Should I remind you about “Boom and bust circle has ended for Britain” Gordon Brown.
Downturn will last only to the end of the year. Gordo 2007 we are in 2012.
UK financial sector is strong we shouldn’t be worry. Gordo then nationalisation and bailouts.
This fresh and innovative intervention that gets to the heart of the problem will bring back growth in UK’. Gordo Still waiting 2012.

Cuts are necessary to bring back growth and prosperity into UK. ??? Camoron

3- “The Argentine government never thinks long term and only thinks of the 'quick fix',”

Can you explain according with you what would be that “long term fix”?

I am packing my bags right now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let me into this paradise called Argentina.
It must be true, the Arthurian legends tell of a mystical land to the west where every one lives in peace, prosperity and happiness ----- the land of Avalon.
This begins with the letter A like Argentina so it must be true.
There is a legend in Scottish Gaelic of a mystical land towards the setting sun called Tir nan Og - the land of the ever young. Again, must be true as Argentina has never grown up !!!
Even in the Lord of the Rings, Frodo and Bilbo leave the Shire sailing towards the setting sun for some paradise.
By extrapolation, this must be ARGENTINA as everyone from there has indicated thus in their postings.
Thank you for opening my eyes----without Malv. and Dany, I would never have had this epiphany.
Oh damn, I forgot I speak only a few words of Spanish so I will have to stay in my little island dreaming of what might have been-----sigh.

I believe it is a magic potion called “Botox” which can make one appear facially youthful but an examination of the neck region reveals the normal ageing process - it doesn't work in this area.
Also, this substance can cause cognitive problems leading to irrational thoughts and behaviour---these symptons are manifest in this case.
Delusions of adequacy, feelings of persecution, a need for constant reassurance and a fear of being ignored by the grown-ups.
Another more distinct possibility is that , like Morgana the Fey, she uses the black arts to blind her followers to her true nature. By supernatural powers she convinces her acolytes that she is one step from a deity and can solve all the world's problems if she is given her own way.
She is constantly amazed why the rest of the civilized world has failed to realise this.

And in Britain everyone loves the name Mohammed and also has become very popular on these days.

In fact I think that everyone in UK should be called Mohammed so would be easy to write emails to everybody just using stamped name on it.

    Here examples:
