FIFA president Sepp Blatter has expressed concern about the slow pace of preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and said he wanted the delays to be made up as soon as possible. Read full article

    At least there is progress. If it was in Argentina the government would have nationalised the hole for the foundations by now.

    Not a great advert for South America or Brazil. Lets face it there are only certain countries now capable of holding events such as the Olympics, world cup etc.

    contrast this with the UK's organisation of the Olympics - almost perfect.
