She's simply not on this planet. She's saying it's not provocative and it clearly says the 'Malvinas' are Argtardian, and then has a visa-fraudster desecrating a war memorial. What's not provocative?

    Argtards gonna prevaricate

This whole episode has exposed the Argies for what they really are. Bitter, deceitful, self-pity wallowers that lack integrity, decency or honour. It is clear that this trolley dolly doesn't have a clue if she thinks an athlete would find running up a total of three steps effective training.

You're right. This level of human is not worthy of registering. Argtards cannot muster an apology for causing a war, and they cannot muster an apology for causing extreme offence by desecrating a war memorial.

The Argtardasaurus has a term for this, it's called 'utter respect'.

This is so shameful on so many levels for the people of Argentina.

    1. Politicize Olympics - Against the rules
    2. Make statements connected to the Olympics that are down right offensive about the Falkland's being Argentinian - Again against the rules and offensive.
    3. Defile a War Memorial - There is no lower act than this you utter scumbags.
    4. Insert left, crazy ambassador to claim there was nothing offensive or provocative in the advert. Only an Argentine ambassador could possibly respond with such a bizarre, lying statement like that.

Apologizing would require the Argentine government to start acting like decent human beings and not utter scumbags and thus we know it won't happen.

Shameful, truly shameful and Argentina has suffered very heavy criticism for this all around the world in all of the news articles I've read.

This truly did backfire and rather spectacularly.

Why not ban all argies from visiting the Islands!!

But really the only language these morons understand is playing them at there own game, the UK gov & Falklands to me should step up there game with some concrete actions to show the goverment of Argentina that these continued abuses & ridicule of the islands & uk will not be tolorated any more.

As for the games, they will defo pull some kind of childish stunt, I hope they do for all the world to see and that their bid for the 2018 summer Olympics goes down the shitter.

As we have all seen with banning of cruise ships/Falklands flagged ships and the states dealings with none Argentine companys the argies are good at one thing.

The damage is done now - any kind of war memorial is not a fitting place to be filmed doing athletic training on.

To do it in a foregign land, which you intend to forcibly annex, shows a complete disregard for its' heritage, history and wish to be free.

One again the Argies remind me why I dislike them so much.

If it wasn't for provocation, then what was the point? Maybe she should explain. Everyone knows the Argentine point of view, also the UK point of view, there's nothing new to say, so why mention the Olympics and why film in the islands? There's only one answer, CFK needs to explain, and quickly.

I often wonder. Had the effort to retake the Falklands after Galtieri's invasion failed, his regime would have not only survived, but gone from strength to strength.
This means that his infamous “Air Taxi” service would have continued taking passengers on one way trips over the sea. My query is this, would Kirchner have been passenger or pilot?

    For once words fail me.

Of course we didn't mean to cause offence by jumping up and down on a war memorial?
I wonder what her reaction would be if British visitors to Argentina used the eternal flame in Mar del Plata to light cigarettes with, and claim that we didn't mean to cause offence?

Seriously, she doesn't need to be PNG-ed by the British, she's doing far too much harm to what is left of Argentina's reputation for the UK to do that.

@25 don't let it get to you. The argtard strategy is to break everyone down so they get negotiations started in the next 2-3 years and then 10-15 years of negotiations to get them to take over the falklands, based on their key demands.

Their demands are: 1) Argtard sovereignty of all the South Atlantic islands. 2) Ethnic cleansing of the people living there to a third country.

The fact is, there will be no negotiations, their faggotry will fail.

Of course its a provocation, you would have to be an idiot to THINK that it is not.

And the olympic idiot is not running up a staircase, he is running on a war memorial.

Is their some genetic fault that makes Argentinian politicians incapable of apologising or taking responsibility for anything.

Also I think only Argentine athletes prepared to sign an agreement promising not to desecrate war memorials should be allowed into the UK.

@28 I think if you put it into the perspective of the Argtards and Y&R wanting this to be provocative in order to further press their message of “negotiations or else” [within 2-3 years] the best thing the peoples of the UK can do is to just ignore it.

If their negotiation plans are über-FAIL, which they will be, then we can laugh at their faggotry with deep bellied laughs. I also think they'll try to ruin the UN Security Council with this kind of faggotry.

Better keep the steady hand, and watch their plans not come into fruition. Desperation will then leave them with one last option. Invasion.

@30 sure, but her antics are just going to get her engaging with absolutely no-one. No mainstream British government, regardless of ideology, is going to give her the time of day, and she's just going to publicise through her child-like messaging to the international community, that Argtardia is run by complete muppets.

That's going to make it impossible for anyone to negotiate with them over anything, and it will also keep political risk high, making trading with them quite lucrative on a cash-on-delivery basis.

Best just keep her where she is, she's basically harmless to anyone but Argtards.

Xect: I whoeheartedly agree that “this is so shameful on so many levels for the people of Argentina.”
What's clear by Castro's statement is that KFC plans to continue to politicize the Olympics and continue to make related provocative statements about the Falkland's being Argentinean.

However, by the mad cow president using propaganda to defile a war memorial, and encouraging her mad cow crazy ambassador to claim there was nothing offensive to the Olympic spirit, the result has been international scorn, which is to our benefit. “This truly did backfire and rather spectacularly.”

@30 Yes, I watched the interview and thought she was completely out of her depth. She had a prepared script she was referring to but even then she got hopelessly lost. She seems to think the population of Argentina is 30m, for example.

She refused to apologise for the advert saying only The Sun readers objected as they are anti-Argentine. At every term she tried to get back to reading her script. And she tried to get the Telegraph poll in - the one where only Argentines voted.

When confounded she tried to turn it into a travel advert for Argentina urging people to come and visit. I guess holiday travel is her specialist subject.

    Not impressive at all.

That Argentina continue to show the ad, defend it and have more in the pipeline is daming indeed. As is their use of the Belgrano for the name of a football league and their wish to have “Malvinas son Argentina” on their Olympic kit. The use of sport for politics is about as low as any country can sink.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if Britain had produced an Olympic Ad in Argentine at their Falklands War Memorial, our athlete doing a mock warm up on it and a fist salute and claiming to be exercising on British soil.

And then the government releasing it to coincide with the sinking of the Belgrano?

No matter what argument you propose, the fact is that this is turning into a TERRIBLE international public relations disaster for your countrymen.
All your Soviet style propaganda about “bridge-building” to the “Malvinas” people has been completely destroyed. I doubt we’ll see another Falklands marathon with Argentines being invited.

(Cooler heads will prevail and continue for relatives to visit the war dead as the British residents of the Falklands are civilized.)

Your president, with her thuggish nationalization of YPF (She could have done it without upsetting the whole financial community), her rabid encouragement of the La Campora attacks against European offices in Buenos Aires and the continued use of your radical ambassadress only serves to hurt your international image.

Twenty years from now, the citizens of the Falklands will probably have a similar status of the Channel Islands with the highest per capita income in the world. Brazil will finally disprove Charles de Gaulle's observation about its future, Chile, Peru and Columbia will progress tremendously and unfortunately Argentina, will continue to be the country that could have been great, but instead choose to continue in their Peronist nightmare of corruption and chaos…

    2. They desecrated a war memorial, knowing fully well what it was, because it's massive.

    4. Orange-head said it wasn't offensive [to argentards].

The Moors observed that “Los perros ladran… ...la caravana pasa” ...yes, you've quoted that somewhere before.

Speaking of serious newspapers like the Sun, El Mercurio, Telegraph and Clarin...

All fun reading today. Especially in the Clarin newspaper (Cristina's favorite) that has three articles of interest as well as the comments from the readers:

1.” Tras el polémico spot olímpico en Malvinas, deportistas piden por materiales retenidos en la Aduana” It seems that Argentine Olympic atheletes have their hands tied in importing essential equipment for training. Honestly THINK, your government is screwing your own Olympic athletes.

    2. “De apuro y para evitar cortes, pagarán 26% más caro el gas -- Después de que Repsol cancelara un contrato de provisión de GNL, el Gobierno tuvo que reemplazarlo de urgencia. Le compró a otras empresas proveedoras, entre ellas una británica, a un precio superior. La factura creció US$ 80 millones.” Oh gosh, the YPF glorious takeover is not going well as far as LNG contracts that are now cancelled. (Don’t worry THINK, the super grand larceny plundering still pays off for the Peronist coffers, but not without some major cash flow shortage headaches. That $80m has to be paid in currency reserves, as BP won't take a long term note from your treasury...) Other dear readers, even if you don’t read Spanish, you can use google translate. because it's worth reading.

    3. Oh yes, another article how Cristina will be pursuing her campaign to humiliate the UK in public forums with some very interesting reader comments. It seems that not everyone in your country agrees with the reckless course your president is taking.

Now, I have a point to make: THINK, I know you have a Mensa level of intelligence, so try to be rational and admit that this was not such a good idea after all. Logic and reason make it very clear that this is hurting the international image of your country.

@6 And who cares about the missile and nuclear weapon range in the south-east part of the South American continent. That's what your cuntry is. A weapons range. Wait up. We'll be using it soon!
@10 Who in their right minds would want much from South America? I suppose you could send your wives and daughters over to staff a whorehouse for the oil workers. £1 a week. Less deductions. Shouldn't be a problem. argieland is full of slags, isn't it? Your president's one for a start!
@15 I'd agree with that! No spies on the Islands. All visitors to argie war graves to be shackled to 50lb balls. And every one required to take a set of remains back to argieland with them.
    @30 You can't call argieland a “nation”. At best, it's a cuntry. Otherwise it's a cesspit.

All argies should be banned from entry to the UK, for any reason, and all BOTs for the next 5 years. Disgusting actions that would not be considered by any human beings. But then argies aren't human beings! Scum! Every one a murdering, queer war criminal!

Chile too. We had to fire our national Olympic committee a few years ago due to corruption. But, really THINK, 7 months equipment held up by your aduana? Also, did you see the readers comments? I can't imagine with all those big footed Argentinean gals having to train shoeless?

”I honestly admit...is a brilliant idea.” Maybe within your Peronist insular land of propaganda, but in the world its viewed negatively. I know for a fact that if you want to really want to upset Germans, and bring out their classic Teutonic anger, disrespect a war memorial (Of any nationality including the Soviets) and the result will be a righteous mix of incomprehension, disgust and outrage.

Then again, you can cause a war by telling them that white asparagus is tasteless, but that's another issue...

The mad cow ambassadress, Alicia Castro is reported in the Telegraph today as trying to pull Argentina's immediate neighbors into the dispute, claiming UK diplomatic and business relations could be damaged if the islands were not handed over to Buenos Aires.
She said Las Malvinas would be better off if they cut their ties with the UK. Argentines would send teachers to the islands to teach Spanish, but did not want to change the way of life“ insisting the islands had to be ”given back to Latin America as a whole“. The MC Castro is quoted ”Is it rational that a small community, in the name of very particular wishes and interests, are against any dialogue?
“Does it make sense that because they are not regarding the interests of the 60 million British people, they are not regarding the interests of the 30 million people in Argentina and they are not regarding their best interests, which would no doubt be better preserved if they were linked to the continent?”

You are absolutely correct. But you have to feel a little sorry for the Argentinians as they have been brought up on a diet of lies and propaganda since the 1950's. You will have to also realise that 'we' are dealing with national's that are on a par with Benin, Burkina Faso and Madagasca that are also languishing in 100th place in the Worldwide Index of Corrupt Nations with Argentina and as such the Argentinians have allowed themselves to adopt a corrupted view of history which was started by Peron and carried on by successive Argentine governments.

The total population in Argentina was last reported at 40.1 million people in 2010 from 20.7 million in 1960, changing 94 percent during the last 50 years. Argentina has 0.58 percent of the world´s total population which means that one person in every 172 people on the planet is a resident of Argentina. What a jumped up fucking turd she was. She will get absolutely nowhere as the RG Uk ambassador.

the overall impression was that she knows fine well that the RG's arent getting anywhere so they have started to work their tickets in public and insult the British as much as they can.

first of all as the sane amongst us know the Falklands has never been part of Argentina ever. Secondly this seems to be the RG take on things now. they now know that the FI will never be part of Argentina and so they are now basically just pretending in their own heads that it is, like setting up Ushaia as the administrative district of the FI etc.

They have now resorted to working their tickets I'm assuming in an effort to provoke the British into some sort of action so they can plead the hard done too country.

Its fucking bizarre behaviour. It just makes then look like they are all fucked in the head.

Let’s see, everything is possible EXCEPT convincing the inhabitants of the Falklands to become Argentine citizens. (You really botched that in your last friendly invasion.)

But let’s assume that the UK government decides to illegally betray the people of the Falklands and give the islands to Argentina in order to bring CFK to a state of happiness and orgasm.

Perhaps Russia will return Prussia to Germany. Perhaps France will cede Calais to the British, Perhaps Chile will give back the north to Bolivia and Peru, perhaps the Americans will give Alaska back to Russia and Argentina will give up the lands they took from Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia and Chile…. Could happen… But then again, I would not want to be the British politician that promoted the idea to betray the sacrifice of the servicemen who died in fighting for their country.

@96 - Think, local elections are usually the voters way of saying they're not happy, but they are not national elections, and there won't be for another couple of years. So in Britain it's business as usual.

Your Ambassador, just like your President, lives in cloud-cuckoo land. They think they can speak for the whole of South America now, do they? How arrogant of them.

Britain's relationship with individual South American nations are between the British Government and the Government of that individual nation, and it's no business of Argentina's. Don't expect other countries to jeopardise their own self interests for Argentina's spurious claims. Don't expect them to back you if your country makes a mockery out of the Olympics.

And just because our government chooses not to embarrass itself on the international stage or constantly screech at the top of our voices, doesn't mean they're not making political inroads. Softly spoken words are appreciated more than someone screeching at the top of their voices.

And like your plastic presidents guarantee of coming back from the OAS summit with a unanimous statement of support for your claim on the Falklands, all of this will come to nothing, and she'll have to steal something else to make herself feel better.

They also don't seem to realise that, for the UK, maintaining the Falkland Islands right to sovereignity is a cross-party thing.

I am surprised that the UK didn't immediately declare former airline attendant Alicia Castro as “Persona Non Grata” and kick her out of the country. Ubfortunately, the Argentine government seems to be putting in place a ridiculous anti-UK campaign for the coming Olympics where they will send in lackeys to cause problems to get their Falklands' issue out to the world. Be prepared.

“I think that it is pretty obvious that nobody had the intention of offending the memory of First World War British soldiers. It is simply an athlete who used his opportunity to train and ran up the staircase”.

So she doesn't apologise about desecrating a war memorial with the explanation that it was a convenient set of steps for exercise?

How is that less insulting? So the things we build to commemorate our honoured dead are fitness accessories for Argentines filming propaganda illegally on British soil.

The Argentine government has stopped shooting themselves in the foot and have started strapping dynamite to their shoes with a very short fuse.

In Ukraine a number of European nations have suggested they make political statments around a football tournament to complain about Ukraines Bad Human Rights record.

In the London Olympics Argentina is suggesting it will make a lot of political protests during the London Olympics because Argentina has a bad human rights record.

I think the fact that the people behind this video felt it necessary to enter the Falklands Islands under the pretext of taking part in a sports event (which itself is a well established charity fundraiser), to sneak around filming in the early hours when nobody could see them and then to demonstrate lack of respect for one of this country' s war memorials shows just how low the Argentinians are prepared to go to promote their so called cause.

The fact remains that Hispanics had a 200 year window of opportunity to move to the Falklands and dominate the British society. If the Falklands mattered as much to them as they claim it does, they would have been here long ago and we would all be speaking Spanish. But they didn't because they weren't interested.

It can't be said that they didn't have a fair chance. They CHOSE not to take it and now the opportunity is gone.

Whatever they do, is never offensive,
But everything we do, is deemed as aggressive and offensive,
But the time for peace is waning,
    What next,
Perhaps the British government needs to stand up and be counted, , so far she has not excepted that this problem is and carries risks, they still think this is a risk free problem, that will go away,

If we are to have any future with South America, then this little problem needs to be dealt with,
The sewers are poisoning the city, soon most of south America will think she is a goddess,
    Seriously
The British needs to put her in her place,
The longer we take, the longer she will have to corrupt and control South America, by threats and bullying,
    British should, [in my opinion]
Rack this up, and start a trade blockade with Argentina,
    1, ban imports
    2, ban exports
3, break off diplomatic relations with Argentina .
    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Then wait and see what happens, and see who follows to back her up,
As this action would separate the sheep from the braggers,
The question well want to follow is,
Will south America back her up and go into a trade war with the British,
Or drop her like a stick sweet.
    Justa point

@124 -Piny you seem angry about something.

I personally think that CFK is the best President Argentina could have, for the cause of the continued freedom of the Falklands from Argentine dictatorship.

She is one step away from becoming a dictator.
She is surrounded by 'yes' men who only tell her what she wants to hear.
She has no understanding of international diplomacy (hence her choice of Ambassador to the UK - a clown).
She fosters the 'victim' mentaility of Argentina, until everyone is fed up of her whinging.
She has upset the World Trade Organisation, the IMF, the EU, the OAS, the IOC.
Individual countries she has upset are:
    Chile
    Brazil
    Peru
    Columbia
    Mexico
    Spain
    USA
    India

This woman is the REAL enemy of Argentina, and her economic policies are running it into the ground.

And once the smoke has cleared, the Falklands will still be under the government their people WANT - British, while you ordinary Argentines will be burning money in the streets to keep warm (as it will be worthless), and CFK and her cronies will be laughing into their tequilla's as they count the millions they have stolen and squirrelled away over the years.

So sad really just how she has fecked up your country, and has to resort to these infantile methods to distract the general public from the fact that Argentina is teetering on the brink of economic oblivion.

Mantener las Islas Falkland libre de dictadura argentina!

@133 Speaking Spanish doesn't make you bilingual. Most normal people have no need to learn Spanish or Gangland-ebonics, because they don't socialise with liars, thieves and thugs. It's just they don't need to speak Spanish because they don't associate with these moral free people. It would be better to learn another good and useful language like Japanese.

Besides, all those poor spanish speakers do all day is jump about demanding people give them land because they killed all the aboriginals and stole their land and want to start killing normal people and steal their land too. No need to speak to them about that, or listen to them for that matter.

They used a British advertising agency on purpose. Same as they used a posed fist salute on the British Battle of the Falklands monument, desecrating that monument and the releasing the ad on the anniversary of the sinking of HMS Sheffield.

They say the islands are their's but that is a lie. She used the idea that the islands are on Argentina's continental shelf, nations do not have continental shelfs using that argument Argentine could claim the hole of Latin America. In any case the idea that the islands which are aprox 400 miles from Argentina are on the same continetal shelf is in fact disputed by most geographical experts.

Using the argument for the return of land Misiones and Formosa Provinces are provinces of Argentina that were seized and annaxed by Argentina from Paraguay in 1870. Martin Garcia Island is an island annaxed by Argentina from Uraguay.

It's only right that Argentina first addresses its own hyocracy by re-examining its own history before talking about taking more land it has never had soverignty over. Not just the Falklands but South Georgia and the South Sandwhich Islands.

She talks about shared soverignty and lease back, they had those options almost handed to them in the 1970's by a traitorus government. After invading the islands in 1982 and the loss of 254 British servicemen and 3 civilians there is going to be no sharing of soverignty. The idea that Argentina could be trusted is insane, they default on their debts every few years, they nationalise corporations at a whim, they claim other peoples land and make crass nationalistic propaganda ads. Sharing soverignty with Argentina would be like a bank trying to share its secruity with the Kray twins! Once Argentina had a base on the islands British control is lost, having the Falklands, their next step would be South Georgia and Antartica.

Marcos, apologies my spelling is written in a hurry! But to get to the issue, you show your serius lack of knowledge of the Islands today in trying to say that we are still a “Colony” as the world knows colonies of the old imperial style.
Indeed Argentina is doing a truly wonderfull job in 2012 in encouraging the world,s media to come to the Islands - as they are finding to their surprises that we are NOT a Colony - that we ARE a country- a people- a modern democracy- indeed that we are a country and a people that have democratic rights.
As an Islander I rally do say a big thankyou for your President in getting this done - it has not cost us a penny - it would have cost us millions had we done it!
As so many of these foreign journalists and tv people have said - we are all queueing up to visit the Islands - few if any are going to Argentina!

I had a lunch today with a friend who is still an active senior officer in our navy.

Chile is even in better conditions today than I thought as now all 4 of our submarines are able to effectively paralyze any navy, except the Americans, the British, the French or the Canadians. (Well, the Canadians in about two years…) Yes, we actually can stop the Russian navy, but don’t ask…

The Argentine navy readiness is actually worse than I’ve reported in the past, with serious maintenance and supply issues that have become painfully impossible to ignore by their admiralty. Several ships are no longer able to leave port with full power available. (Their 4 German built frigates are each powered by two Rolls Royce turbans. You can therefore imagine their problems.) Also, for some bizarre reason, foreign suppliers are demanding payment via a non-Argentine bank letter of credit. …Imagine…

Finally, their budget is so tight right now, they do not do test missile firings, which is completely understandable as they are so damn expensive, until you realize, THEY DON’T DO TESTING AT ALL. NADA! ZIP! There are some commanding Argentine officers who have never seen a live missile launch of an Exocet.

They do have better meals on board than Chile or Brazil. The Chilean admiralty has someone doing a comparison and they report that their diet is still with more protein and higher in calories. (Except sodium, as the Argentinian armed forces have drastically reduced their sodium intake.)

The interesting part: Apparently the current government sent a confidential memorandum to all regional Argentine military commanders with all the typical CFK political B.S. rhetoric , but also reassuring the armed forces that an active physical aggression by Argentina was not being considered at this time. The memo concluded that international support would eventually force the UK to finally accept reason and release the south Atlantic territories back to where they rightfully belong.

Pitcairn, Falklands et al haven't chosen to be full nations then.

Whether you like it or not, the Falklands is a self-governing territory with the queen as the head of state and a democratically elected leadership, just like a lot of other countries. When they become Independent is a choice for them, not for you.

    C/O Casa Rosada
    Plaza De Mayo
    Buenos Aires , Argentina

    Your Excellency ,
I am writing in response to your continued demands for the transfer of sovereignty of the Falkland Islands .
Having consulted with my colleagues , the British readers of the Daily Telegraph and the Falklands Islands legislature , I am afraid your request has been refused .
However, being British , magnanimous and fair , we cannot see you leave the negotiating table empty handed.
HM The Queen has graciously commanded that henceforth ,Liverpool and its dependencies , Widnes and Runcorn , will be cedeed to Argentina in perpetuity.
The population of Liverpool are very similar to the rest of the Argentine people , so will assimilate very quickly .
You will also be pleased to know that the whole of Ireland is on Liverpool's
continental shelf , so you will no doubt be claiming that as well , especially since a great part of the Spanish armada was wrecked off the Irish coast , which automatically makes it Argentine territory.
The owners of Liverpool FC and Everton FC have confirmed they are looking forward to playing in the Belgrano League , though they admit away matches will be a bit of a strain.
It's only fair to warn you that buying the votes of scousers will cost you a little more than votes in Lanus or Avellaneda .
They will expect a council house , £300 pw , a pair of white trainers and a Plasma TV .
As a thank you to your good self in being so patient with us , Her Majesty has graciously presented you with some Harrods gift vouchers , a William & Kate souvenir pack with a mug , teatowel and DVD and a brown envelope containing an unspecified amount of cash in US dollars.
    Yours sincerely
    The Right Hon William Hague
    Foreign secretary.
    her Brittannic Majesty's Government

    @37 UKOwnsArgentina
The UK does not owns Argentina. The UK likes to show off with a very expensive “war” ship, but cannot afford to buy the French Concorder for the Islanders to travel and to become independent from argentine ports. The UK is financially broke and does not how to stop the argentinians dislike for the Old Bloody Rubish English People.
    @156 Ursurping Pirate
The UK has the choice to immediately stop all diplomatic relations with Argentina. As I previously said, my country does not need anything from the UK and the UK does not need anything from my country. What the UK is waiting for? A prompt response from the brits is expected to receive with a few seconds.

SussieUS...Diplomatic protocol has to be followed and should. I agree that they should threaten with severance of ties, but first they must follow the protocol which is exactly what Argentina does not do and unfortunately gets away with.

French Concorde,, some points of interest
1 why buy French, when we have our own
2, if I am correct, all concords were grounded years ago
3, we think there is a concord in a museum some where,
4, the ship is not that dear, compared to others,
5, we are a nation of peace, that only tries to help others, [right or wrong]
6, we may not own Argentina, / and thus ,Argentina does not own the British Falklands .
    Justa point

The final flight of a Concorde world-wide took place on 26 November 2003
3 of them are on display in “US” aircraft museums.

Both the UK and France had 10 each - it was built and designed jointly by the UK and France.

The Falkland Islands belong to the Falkland Islanders !

Argentina is a product of colonialism, conquered by the sword, most of the natives killed and infected by disease, their land taken from them and worked by imported African slaves, oversean by imported European colonials. The African's who made up 50% of the population would themselves completely disapear from Argentina between 1850-1900 in what could have been a chilling fore runner to the disareances of the Dirty War in the 1970's when an estimated 30,000 Argentines were raped, tortured and murdered, many more were held illegally in detention camps and tortured. The true figure for the dead could be as high as 100,000, no one knows because there is little official documentation and most bodies were dumped in the sea.

Argentina took land from its neighbours in numberous wars , civil wars and land grabs - Paraguay, Uraguay, Chile. Today Argentina despite the changed political landscape is still a nation characterised by uber nationalism. The claim to the Falklands was surendered in 1850 but reserected in 1941 by a fascist junta, which inc Peron, they thought their friends the Nazi were going to win the war, the Falklands looked easy picking.

In 1982 Argentina was under the latest succession of a series of fascism military junta's. Their hold on power was looking precarious, in deperation they sort a war, Chile looked like a good victim, they already claimed lots of land and were ignoring the international tribunals that had ruled in Chile's favor. But then they changed their mind and invaded the Falklands. Today the war is romanticized by a nation ruled by a kind of cross between a Neo-Nazi uber nationalist and a Charvesta Revolutionary uber Marxist. The only thing missing is the land reform. Maybe that's for later? But as few natives remain, maybe they'll just ignore their rights... God knows they always have. An entire culture replaced by a European one. Entire languages destroyed.

Timmerman should take time to read about his country's history.

#1 Your having a laugh, nobody serious takes the Sun seriously. See Leveson Inquiry for more details =)

#130 Junapell your one seriously mixed up guy, you call for help against my beautiful Queen's “tyranny”, presumably because she is an iron lady when it comes to standing up to unpatriotic corporations, then bemoan the fact that the corporations are too unpatriotic to get rid of her!
