As “highly positive” was described the 2011/12 cruise season by Uruguay’s Deputy Tourism minister Lilian Kechichian during the ceremony in the port of Montevideo to receive the last vessel of the season. Read full article

Putting any kind of restriction of cruise ships travelling to the Falklands to one side, I can image that the various cruise liner accidents there have been in the last 12 months will put people off this form of holiday. But I'd love a cruise myself.
