May 18th, 2012 - 09:19 am - Link - Report abuse 0When will she ask them to show support for her territorial claims over the Falklands?
May 18th, 2012 - 09:34 am - Link - Report abuse 0I hope the Angolans realise it'll be worth a few million free tonnes of food to them.

May 18th, 2012 - 09:37 am - Link - Report abuse 0Haha very true
yer argentina does have a lot more in common with the african dictators then the rest of the world lmao, also Do you think she looks tired?
May 18th, 2012 - 09:41 am - Link - Report abuse 0I know people have been mocking this trip on here for ages, but it seems to be a good idea. And Angola, far from being the joke country people were making out, was the socialist country Cuba assisted against invasion by apartheid South Africa, ushering in the doom of apartheid (according to Nelson Mandela himself).
May 18th, 2012 - 10:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0#5 No I think she looks lovely
Amnesty International: Away from the international headlines, thousands of human rights defenders were threatened, imprisoned, tortured and killed, including in Afghanistan, Angola, Brazil, China, Mexico, Russia, Myanmar, Turkey,Uzbekistan, Viet Nam and Zimbabwe.
May 18th, 2012 - 11:33 am - Link - Report abuse 0These activists were often speaking out on human rights issues including poverty, the marginalization of whole communities, women's rights, corruption, brutality and oppression. Events in all regions highlighted their crucial role, and the need for global solidarity with them.
Hmm, aren't most of these Argentina's chums?
How does your story above negate Angolas status as a joke country. It's a non sequitur.
May 18th, 2012 - 11:34 am - Link - Report abuse 0Oil for food.. is CFK working with Iraq and the UN now! The only people this will benefit is K's and minions. I am sure it is set up just like with the Venezuela trade 15% off the top for both sides while the people of both nations are in collapse.
May 18th, 2012 - 11:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0I wonder if the real reason she is there is to look for a safe house?
the new strategic allies of Argentina, I see...
May 18th, 2012 - 01:02 pm - Link - Report abuse 0We are saved thanks to the cleverness of Kretina and her troupe who are going to sell the Angolans 18 harvesters whhich haven't been made yet and bring back enough petroleum and gas to heat Kretin's hotels in Calafate.

Don't worry the US Senate is already working on Argentina:
May 18th, 2012 - 01:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Sen. Dick Lugar, R-Ind., the most senior Republican member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, presented a “sense of the Congress” resolution on May 10 that calls on the Obama administration to team up with European countries to suspend Argentina from the G-20 because of that country’s pattern of “outlaw behavior.”
THUMP
Trade with Angola has risen to £150 million dollars. That's good news, only another $250 million to go and YPF can make their late payment to Credit Suisse.

May 18th, 2012 - 03:25 pm - Link - Report abuse 016. Lugar will be around long enough to do Argentina damage and if not him there are plenty of other Senators that feel the same way.

USCC is reviewing the legality of the seizure of BCRA reserves.
If all of these hits about the same time I wouldn't be surprised is CFK kills herself due to her bi-polar wackiness and general un balanced hyterical behavior.
She is a narcissist, so I don't think she will kill herself. I definitely think she has started the groundwork for getting out before it gets much hotter. Already we have heard her bleating about her 'personal sacrifices' and I am sure that is the theme she will develop. No leader should complain the way she does; it is an honour to serve one's country and she has enjoyed much privilege and wealth as a result of her stint in office. I hope she goes soon.
May 18th, 2012 - 04:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Cristina de Kirchner said that Argentina and Angola are the same thing. Of course Argentina and Angola are the same thing. Angola has millions of poor, Argentina has millions of poor, president of Angola is as corrupt as Cristina de Kirchner. The achievements of Cristina de Kirchner are so magnificent, that the only country Argentina can sign agreements with is Angola hahaha
May 18th, 2012 - 05:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@ 6 you'll love what's coming for Argentina, oh man, you'll do it, you'll see :)

-How does CFKs huge wealth and aspirations for wealth not contradict her supposed socialist ideals? How is this in line with her pursuit of a more egalitarian state?-
The president of Uruguay for example seemingly has a tiny fraction of her level of wealth. More importantly he doesn't seem to go looking for it.

May 18th, 2012 - 09:13 pm - Link - Report abuse 0She'll need Angolan oil because who is going to invest in the Shale fields? Might have problems if there is another drought in the fatherland, but she can always owe Angloa food/money and default on it.

May 20th, 2012 - 11:24 am - Link - Report abuse 0Hello? Anybody there?
Seems your are a little confused over things here.
First this is not Britain or any other puppet peripheral state you have putted your foot on so whatever your Moron Senator thinks or does is just to entertain idiots like you. Is like one Arg. senator asks to the govt. to force the exit of USA from the world trade system. Come one do whatever you want so we will have a lot to laugh and the Arg. govt will have a good excuse to expropriate Americans companies as already have done with JP Morgan, Repsol, etc. What US company would you like Arg. Start with? Exxon perhaps? GM? IBM? Kraft? Procter & Gamble? Microsoft? Uh! The list is very long I guess.
The Arg. govt already once had sized your plain do you want more humiliation?
@ British_Kirchnerist
Why UK’s MPs have to be mistreated like this by US moron corrupted politicians?
Can we name George Galloway governor of Malvinas?
1-He is British
2-Seem to put in place the stupid Americans
3-Seem to be very smarts to make look US senators like idiots
4-Sure his party is the opposed to Idiot Camoron.
We can save the world for a new war I guess and we will have not to exterminate some British after all.
George PM of Britain, umm sounds pretty good. Where can we contribute with some Quids for his campaign?
#28 Glad you like George, he really is a British anti-imperialist hero =) But I don't think he'd approve of your line on Mohammed bashing I'm afraid =(
May 20th, 2012 - 12:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0George Galloway = Hugo Chavez
May 20th, 2012 - 04:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hugo Chavez = CFK & Co
CFK & Co = Disaster for Argentina
CFK & Co even refused to comply with articles 47 & 49 of the IMF charter to combat terrorist financing and money laundering. I wonder why?....
