And if it wasn't for Conqueror visiting us as frequently as he does, the LA numbers would be down to 2.3 litres pure alcohol per year and capita....

That indicates us Latin Americans are less depression penchants than Europe--USA.

The only thing it indicates is that countries like Argentina are too destitute to be able to afford alcohol from any official outlets ... and drink vast quantities of highl4y potent moonshine that doesn't appear in statistics like this.

I mean, just look at Argentina: the whole country has alcohol dependency and suffers from collective brain-rot .. just look at the literate Nazi boys, with the multiple personality disorders, commenting in #1 and # 2 above if you want conclusive proof of that.

I think there is a cultural trend to drink more in the UK. Good alcohol is very cheap compared to many countries (something the government is changing).
I can buy good Chilean wine cheaper in the UK than buying direct from the winery in Chile. They seem to have very high tax on alcohol.

Many of my Argentine friends can't afford to drink a lot, so I guess that is positive for the health of their livers.

Don't blame the taxing, Sweden has 300% taxes on alcohol (beer is lower) and they still drink like sponges... Generalising, new Europe is alcoholised and living on the merits of their parents

Guzz yet again betrays his crass ignorance about Sweden. Tax on alcohol in Sweden is not applied as a percentage of the price (it is applied on a sliding monetary scale based on the volume of alcohol) and most swedes either drink moonshine, bring their hard alcohol in form abroad or go abroad to do their drinking (which is why, every weekend, there are comatose swedes everywhere you look in Copenhagen and Oslo).

I think it is important to put modern views on drinking into perspective. It used to be common for people to drink alcohol because it was safer than water. Mead was the common drink in ENgland centuries ago. In fact, years ago in Argentina people drank the cheap wine because the water was unsafe. Take a trip to Mendoza and they will give you a history lesson.

Alcoholism is not a uniquely European problem. It is as evident in the Southern Cone as in Europe. As is the huge problem with drug addiction. I think people are confusing alcohol dependency with social consumption levels.

I guess you know bettert han the Swedes themselves... Of course the taxing is based on the amount of alcohol, as it is the alcohol you pay taxes for! I admit I havent been in the country for a couple of years now, and the EU has made Sweden to relief their taxing on alcohol a bit, but they still have monopoly in that sense that the Systembolaget are the only ones allowed to sell the stuff. 33% of the Swedes consumption comes from illegal sources, the rest is sold in the country, there are no numbers on the consumtion abroad, for obvious reasons. And yes, they do like their hembränt, just like the norweigans...
    Still, they drink like sponges.

No, I just know swedes and Sweden better than you do; but then (as witnessed by your pidgin Swedish) you aren't actually the swede you claim to be. Anyway, point made that you haven't got a clue what you are talking about and are just plucking numbers out of thin air ... but then we already knew that to be your habit.

I never claimed to be Swedish, lilla du. Even so, my swedish is quite perfect, thank you very much :) It's not my fault you have problems understanding it. In fact, that's not at all the languages fault. I wont push you too far as I know you people take out your anger on your own adolescents, but it must be hard to be a Norweigan and defend British values, you are mainly known for the nation that has been owned by practically everyone...

Yes you have repeatedly claimed to be Swedish - just like that other alter ego of yours does - and your Swedish is far from perfect. In fact, your Swedish is actually quite appalling .. even for a clueless teenage troll using Google translate.

When did I claim to be Swedish? Is this another one of your “truths”? Now, I know you said repeatedly, but show me one (1) link to a page where I claim to be Swedish. If you can't you are truly a liar...

The liar is calling me a liar? That's rich .. even for a clueless teenage troll who is so incompetent that he can't actually keep a track of which of his many identities he is commenting from. Do get a life.

    Guzz

Don't like insults? You aren't so shy about them when you are dishing them out in pidgin Swedish though, are you, Naziboy?

The very first post you addressed to me from this preposterous (relatively) new 'Guzz' identity made the claim that you are Swedish (and you repeated the claim again from your 'Think' persona). If you don't have the wherewithal to keep a track of the drivel you are posting, then that is your problem. It certainly isn't enough of a problem for me that I am going to look for articles that are weeks old in order to find where you said what you have said time and time again form several of your many online identities.

PS: The word you were looking for, shitferbrains, is 'prove'

    May 25th, 2012 - 01:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0
  • Guzz

I'm sorry to tell you, but proove is present indicative, while prove is past indicative. I admit to spell thing wrong at times, but I don't tend to comment on people's spelling, and if you feel that need, make sure to learn your grammar first. We might be talking about different verbs, but the fact that your english is a bit restricted by your wits, is not my fault at all...

Everytime you guys spread lies, they are followed by excuses as to why you can't proove them, is that a coincidence, do you think?

    May 25th, 2012 - 01:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0
  • skåre

“I admit to spell thing wrong at times” is exactly what I would expect from the little boy who gets his proof confused with prove. *snigger*

I don't need to spread lies, because your own words condemn you over and over again. Lies are the preserve of the Kirchnerists who are unable to face the reality of the fact that Argentina stands alone, impotent and utterly friendless in the world.

    May 25th, 2012 - 02:02 pm - Link - Report abuse 0
  • Guzz

The fact that you lack friends can't be projected on Argentina. I'll put it so even you can understand it. The fact that you don't consider them as friends doesn't mean they don't have any, it only means they are doing everything right to keep your sort where you belong.
Proove means the act of submitting evidence, prove (in tyhe case of proove) means the same in imperfect, while proof is a substantive, the evidence itself. Don't bother thanking me.

The Norweigans have (as far I know), two different setup of their language, bokmål and nynorsk. I can't tell you which one is which one, but I can surely tell you many sentences can be “true” in Norweigan. What more is, the biggest difference between your sentences is the word “vennligst”, which means “kindly”. So I would say both sentences are true, but I can't understand what it has to do with anything...
