Oh dear, severe desperation to need Arg advice on economic issues.

I presume they will advise Greece to default like they did.

Need to be careful here. Because it is referred to as an “Argentina team” doesn't necessarily mena they are argies. After all, what would argies know about saving a country from economic disaster?

Greece should learn from Argentina, the post default decade, with a left government in power, has been the best in the country's history

AIG usualyy employ westerners at the head of their respective businesses around the world. A good personal friend of mine is the managing director of the New Zealand group owned by AIG.

I would be amazed if any Argentine was in a senior board position at AIG Argentina.

They ll probably go and steal whatever money they have left...
There was this argentine general who came to America and visited one of the generals from here. They went to the Americans general country house and the Argentine general was amazed. The extension of his land was huge...way over 1,000 acres on an expensive part of the state. The argentine general asked the American one how was he capable of affording this land. The American general asked“ do you see that highway that crosses this land?” and the Argentinian says “yes” to what the American general says“ well 10 pct of the funds to build it are here” and he points toward his own pocket.
The argentine general grins and continues to enjoy the day.
A couple of years go by and the argentine general invites the American general (now retired) to visit his new home in Patagonia.
When the American arrives he can't believe what he sees.... At least 20,000 acres of land, golf courses, soccer field, Olympic swimming pool and more.... Astonished he asks the Argentine General how was he able to afford all that, to what the Argentine general says“ do you see that highway that crosses this land” the American looks and looks and says “ I don't see any highways” and the Argentine general says“ exactly, 100 pct of the project funds are right here” and points toward his own pocket...

Argentines are expert at not paying their debts. This is a skill that the whole world can use. Plus CFK and fat Maximo are expert at stealing other people's money. Another skill that politicians can use.

Argentina remains in default on its debt to the Paris club of Sovereign Creditors and has not paid the sums that the World Bank's International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes has determined it owes foreign companies.

@14 There is an old aphorism about “experts”. “Ex” = a has-been. “Spurt” = a drip under pressure. Argieland proves the aphorism is true in certain places.
