Maybe they thought we were going to launch him at them like some kind of missile...no wait, didn't they launch their “give peace a chance love missiles” at us?

The provocation is completely from Argentina in this 30th year.

Maybe in future, would be great if Duke of Cambridge could do another tour of Falkland Islands?

Here in Canada, we're happy that when he was in Prince Edward Island last July, the Duke was able to get in a short bit of helicopter practice doing “waterbirding”:

Is that the conquerors war machine in the background? No wonder Argentina trembled in fear.

@1 Did you not know that bright yellow is camouflage? Britain decided to adopt this colouring after 1982 when they saw the brilliant argie “camouflage” of painting large red crosses on every flat surface.
@6 Actually, you need a full photograph in order to understand the dastardly ploys of the British conquerors. For instance, the “winch” is actually a lariat that can be fired at low-flying fast jets to pull their wings off. Those oblong boxes above the cockpit windows are the mounts for the laser-guided death rays. Those “sponsons” above the wheels are actually missile carrying points, whilst those things that look like wheels are actually “bouncing bombs”. On a full picture, one can see a domed structure further along the fuselage behind the rotor. The British say that this is a radome. But, in reality, it is an R2D2 clone. Finally, and horrifically, by flying upside down the “chopper” can live up to its name and cut the grass. Of course, argies are not fooled by all this seeming innocence.

@7 Lol. Now the Prince is not there, I wonder why the current SAR pilots are not a threat?????
Argentina must be the only country on the planet who sounded air raid sirens for (6 weeks?) and took to the shelters everytime they heard that the Prince had taken off from MPA in his clandestinely camouflaged Sea King.
And Conqueror, what's the yellow circle above the rotors? An AEW radar?
    Please educate.

With Conqueror's permission, the yellow circular object above the rotor is the most dastardly of all the clandestine weapons on the SAR heli; it is a BF that is a Boomerang Frisbee that flies off at tremwndous speed , chops off enemy heads, and returns to it's original position.

@9 Simon68 My curiosity is satisfied. I hope your sleep was not disturbed by the air raid sirens initiated everytime the prince took off.

@11 Do you know, Sussie, if we smashed you face first into a concrete wall and then drove over you with a sh*te-spraying garbage truck, you'd still be ugly.

Perhaps bright yellow should be the new Argentine national colour. It reflects their national character, although in 1982 the flags they waved were white!!

@14 The Argentines seemed terrified at the thought of the prince attacking Argentina in a yellow helicopter. Thanks to Conqueror for explaining why. No mention I believe of the Typhoons, or the GR4 Tornados nesting in the UK. Perhaps they would be a bigger detterent if painted yellow?
