Hundreds of protesters clashed violently with police in the Chilean capital as they demonstrated on Sunday against the screening of a new documentary honouring the late dictator Augusto Pinochet. Read full article
The Coup was nearly 40 years ago.
Those throwing stones at the police and smashing shop windows weren’t even born when he took power.
They are nothing more than thieves and vandals.
No doubt all this commotion in the streets and the news headlines will bring a bigger audience to Pinochet - the film. Wonder when it will be on Youtube?

Unfortunately, the comunist even they are very few crazy gangnters have remained doing what they have the best expertise: making violence over those that have a different (the good one) thought, a different point of vieuw over what is freedom, equality and democracy....You just take a look over the way they know protesting hurting people, insulting others and destroying what they found through their path......well done, scrap comunist, expert in human right destruction. You have unmasked yourselves with this kind of attitude.
Successfully forbidding or impeding this pro-Pinochet movie may be a test to see how successfully that anti-Pinochet ideologists and street-demonstrators can force their will on the media apparatus as controlled by the state. If the movie doesn't get air-time in Chile, will probably appear on the internet sooner. However, since the current president of Chile, Sebastián Piñera, has had close links with members of Pinochet's cabinet such as Hernán Büchi, will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.
