You see, when your own economists tell you your government is lying, does this not make you realise how little chance there is that we are prepared to listen to it.

But the government official figures for May are 0.8% and 9.9% for the year. They wouldn't be lying again, would they ?
34.9% is horrendous and must be causing social unrest -Teamsters strike, pot banging etc.
Once the government fails to pay the public sector ,the sh*t will hit the fan.
Whilst CFK is diverting public attention with the Falklands, Argentina's economy is falling apart.

    Is this correct ... 30%?

And Queen Christina is running around the globe talking about nonsense when the average Joe in the street at home has to contend with this shameless situation. Who would want her as President??????

Of course it may be that Argentina and Britain are both struggling (finished is such a strong word), and even if we were at war, which we're not, their troubles would be no automatic relief for us. The question is how are they being dealt with, and are the responses pro-people (Reina Cristina) or pro-rich (call me Dave). I know who I'd rather have as my President, if we had one!

Anyway however bad it may be, even if we accept 34% for the sake of argument, how can this be a “historic high” when there was hyperinflation in the thousands of percent in the 80s??
