However each country has to decide by themselves what are the more appropiate policies, so in a few words we don't tell you what do nor we want anybody else tell us what to do.
I agree with you that the weapons are not the main problem but certainly doesn't help. Unfornately the drug lords are protected by high rank government officials.

If you read the actual words from the US trade rep to the WTO where do you see the word demand? The word demand was used by author of this article and other authors to get attention. Be.cause the issue was brought up by the US which always creates a reaction because the US (particularly foreign policy) is not popular in a large cross section of countries.

The EU has because they feel they have a case and are much more important trade parter to Argentina than the US is. Argentina's representatives are speaking all over the US right now asking Americans to buy more products from Argentina and having meetings with large American companies to invest in Argentina.

Of course, he is so thick that he doesn't realise that firstly Argentina would have to acquire nuclear weapons (you can't just pop down to the local shops and buy them), secondly they would have to convince the UNSC that they were responsible enough to have them, and then secure them against tampering or theft from terrorist organisations, or face huge sanctions (think Iran and North Korea). Plus I doubt the UNSC believe that Argentina has a stable enough government to have nuclear weapons.
Thirdly, buying and maintaining nuclear weapons costs huge amounts of money. Remember after the Soviet Union fell, just how hard they found it to maintain and secure their weapons.
Finally, since nuclear weapons can only be used in defence, they do become an albatross around a countries neck. For instance, a nuclear power can't legally use a nuclear weapon on a non-nuclear power (it just isn't cricket). However, should Argentina become a nuclear power and use a nuclear weapon against the British, then the UK could legally blast Argentina off the face of the earth for doing so.
Pirat-hunter isn't very bright. The threat of mutual nuclear annihilation has prevented a 3rd world war, although it obviously has not stopped all wars.

Let's see:
1. China - won't trade nukes with their ally North Korea, so why should they with Argentina a completely unstable country!
2. India - is a part of the Commonwealth, and supports the UKs position, not Argentina's so wouldn't trade, besides it needs all it's nukes to counter Pakistan.
3. Pakistan - as above, but uses its nukes to counter India.
4. North Korea - er, doubtful as their last 'test' went disastrously wrong.
5. Russia - won't give nukes to unstable countries, otherwise they'd have probably supplied them to their friends Syria and Iran.
6. Iran - hasn't got nukes yet, and probably won't get them as Israel has threatened to make them glow in the dark.
Any country that tried to trade (you would have to trade as you have no money) with Argentina regarding nukes would quickly find their ships in Davy Jones' locker, sent there by either:
1. US Navy
2. Royal Navy
3. Chilean Navy
4. Brazilian Navy
You're a dreamer PH, but not a good one. If you ever did attack the Falklands, the UK would respond much more aggressively than we did in 1982.
