Designation as a World Heritage Site means that all must stay 'the same'.
A thousand favelas now get the protection that they so didn't want.... protected sewer surface drainage and protected street webs of wires and cables. Oh, lucky simpático cariocans.
I like Sydney s landscape better.... And by the looks (I have never been there) the Hong Kong Marina....
We should make Galveston island one as well (I am being sarcastic just in case you have never been there) for its clear waters
