As I was saying earlier, until then it was just a convention that the President served two terms, one successfully broken by FDR and attempted to be broken by others. With Cristina in office the current Argentine situation would be best served by the pre-1951 American model of potential unlimmited re-election =)
Other than that an interesting article. I've been seeing some speculation Romney might pick Condi Rice, which would be interesting...
