Moyano should be happy he isn't British, just ask David Kelly... or his family...

Ahh, Guzz my favourite socialist/communist. Grasping at straws and trying to divert the thread. Not doing very well are you? Perhaps La Campora should fire you.

Surely as a socialist, you support the poor downtrodden workers agains the evil oppressive government, don't you?

CFK is playing with fire here, which could well turn around and burn her.

You see it takes someone with balls to fight and break the unions, and dear CFK isn't up to the task, because she has to feel that everyone loves her.

When the workers are rioting in the street and burning her effigy, do you think her sicophants will hide it all from her and tell her that the people love her? That she is the reincarnation of Eva Peron, and therefore can do no wrong?

Or will they behave like the rats they are and desert the sinking ship that is CFK's government?

    Left out in the cold.

Guzz, #3, is right about David Kelly.
If he, Kelly, had the rights to protection from 'accidents' or 'forces unknown' by the British police, the armed forces, the judicary, the government and the administration ... as well as a union and the TUC, perhaps he would not be 'unexpectedly dead'.
It is a dangerous thing to question the official position on Weapons Of Mass Destruction.
The first duty of any government is the safety of its citizens ... including David Kelly. In this respect, Moyano is, of course, perfectly safe in Argentina.

Mr David Kelly will be another jack the ripper,

    A political error or embarrassment,
But like jack, you will have to wait 30 years to find out,

And of course like jack, that was extended to 100 years,
And even today, some info is kept secret,
    National security.

Does or did mr Kelly hold or knew something, that could bring down the establishment, no matter how a small part of it, may have fallen.

Politicians, have in the past, present and in the future, it seems can do what they want, to whom they want,
For the political elite always seems to a above the law,

[Then again, a conspiracy theorist may say ?/ ]

@2 the government cannot sack an elected head of a union! What is a shame is that as soon as the unions do not support her crazy economic schemes they attempt to overthrow the elected ehad for doing exacly what he is paid to do, i.e. stand up for the workers. It is imposible to be a socilist and approive of the state running the unions.

@5 and 7 you are cluthcing at straws when you use conspiracy theories to divert attention away from the actual story. Moyano is right in that the Peronist government is abandoning its core voter base and with the middle classes also in arms, the failing economy and her inability to do anything about, I can not see a future for CFK.

Moyano should be sacked by his members. If I was in Argentina I would be at the metal workers meeting and not Moyano's illegitimate rally. I will not abandon Cristina even if the elite plots against her, with which Moyano is colluding, succeed, although I don't expect they will

Very very scary news about Argentina signing a military cooperation agreement with Venezuela, these people are looking to start a war.

Did you hear about the new “militant” movement that Kirchners are starting that will make “La Cámpora” look like a group of kids in nursery school? It's called “Vatayon”, it's a Kirchner backed group that goes into the prisons of Argentina to recruit supporters for their political movement. This is frightening!

@16 well thats up to the union members isnt it? and given that he is representing there wishes and doing what is best for his members that seems highly unlikely. He has just got them a pay rise after all. I believe that he would become 10 times more dangerous if sacked as he would then have an axe to grind and would ally himself to political parties and people intrested in seeing an end to the Kirchinite regime.

    @13 -BK

Since you are a deluded idiot, we can only assume that you wouldn't abandon your beloved Cristina even if she murdering babies and eating them raw.

You know BK, for a supposed socialist is amazing why you back a Peronist (fascist) party against the workers. You really are either a deluded idiot, or a traitor to the cause. Or maybe your both.

CFK is a populist leader. This means she needs to remain popular to stay in power. If she tries to take on the unions and fails, she'll be out on her ear within days. If she wins, well...she won't win because then she'll alienate the working masses and they'll hound her out of office.

Do you think she was wooing the military so she can set them against the working man? If she does BK will you still be supporting her as she orders the military to open fire on the unarmed workers?

There is an article in Clarin today talking about lack of tourist, hmm I think I mentioned that here once or twice. Higher costs lower tourists. Simple to understand if you are not an RG. Of course I was shouted down.

In the article it said 1 U$ to have the same buying power as in 2004 would make the peso 9.8/1 wanna bet that's where it is to boost up the summer/xmas season? Then watch for hyper inflation take hold sometime the following quarter. CFk wants a little juice to pull the country into 2013.
All I can say is watch out below!

Here I am Dany, and a very good morning to you all.

CFK, having used Moyano as a battering ram and picket line over the isolating of Clarín and La Nación, now is trying to get rid of him because he is an embarassment in present circumstances. This is because he is asking for inflation indexed raises for the workers rather than the INDEC generated amounts that CFK regards as reallity.

I think that Moyano is right and the “Gordos” are wrong. Moyano is supporting the workers and the Gordos are supporting the Government. The CGT belongs to the workers, not to the Government

See your trouble BK is you keep spouting off about how great CFK is yet you sit here getting your free NHS, civil libertys, probably go down the pub for the odd pint or claim dole money, yet have no conception of whats going on in Argentina except what you read on here and other sites, do yourself a favour and go there, I can organise you a flight on a C130 if you want, don't be to nervous if the tailgate opens over the Atlantic they do that to get rid of bad smells.

And now this leach called moyano has the face to blame it on CFK, people like moyano should be tried, judged and executed in the same day, lazy people like this turd need to blame things on everyone else, how else can they keep a job or get anything done??

    26 Pirat-Hunter (#)

Moyano was the guy who supported both Nestor and Cristina from 2003 until last year, when Cristina turned on him and his union.

It seems as though loyalty only works one way in Argentina, you are loyal to Kretina and not to your principles.

Having used Moyano and his Union to consolidate her power she refused to allow the unions representation in Congress. Just goes to show how little “peronism” means to the Viuda Negra!!!!
