Notice - only a delegation from the continent of the old colonial powers pokes into the affairs of South Americans. Nobody from Asia or Africa sticks its nose into the affairs of Latin Americans !

    @1

I didn't see any reference to 'pokes into the affairs'. Are you clairvoyant per chance?

“The Euro lawmakers are surprised by the fact that both Mercosur and Unasur decided resolutions regarding Paraguay without giving us the right to defence”, said Foreign minister Fernández Estigarribia”

Seems reasonable to me, given that Argentina, Brasil, and to my shame, Uruguay, decided the matter in a kangeroo court, whereas Paraguay used their own constitution and law to impeach Lugo.

Or do you now want to poke into the affairs of Paraguay?

    @ 3 JUBA

    “America for americans”

I second that - everybody of European descent leave immediately, handing over America to the Amerindians from whom it was stolen.

South American justice is swift and efficient, not like European law which is costive and supine.

I agree all countries but Argentina should be handed back to the natives. There is no one in Argentina to hand anything back to so we are excempted.

Not our fault of the other 33 countries of the hemisphere did a crappy job in their deracination.

Oh and yes, Europeans complaining about “defence and appeal”... WHEN DID THEY EVER AFFORD THAT TO THE NATIVES OF AMERICA, ASIA, AUSTRALIA AND AFRICA?

This maybe the most hypocritical article in Earth's history.

@6 Yes, South American justice is swift and efficient. It involves being pushed out of a helicopter at 1,000 ft without a parachute.

@7 Great idea! What do you think the chances of getting a fishing permit from the penguins is? Lol!

The headline is misleading, we only have what the Franco's foreign minister (hardly an unbiased source!) says is their opinion, they've not yet said anything themselves. Anyway the Francoites are in no place to talk about rushed proceedings!

@1 YOU, i.e. mercosur, want to have a trade agreement with the EU. Therefore, the EU has every right to investigate when you appear to be punishing one of your own for acting within its constitution. The action against Paraguay makes any EU/mercosur agreement far less likely!
@6 Thank you for confirming that you are genocides!
@9 Ever read the Paraguayan constitution. Of course you wouldn't. Argieland doesn't even comply with its own!

“mercosur, want to have a trade agreement with the EU”

Nope “Con que” is EU that is actually desperate to get an agreement. I don’t see anyone around here in rush to sign anything.

Making a win out of second place again Mr. Blobby?

The fact is that the EU have been stringing the process out for 12 years because you lot cannot meet the conditions for safe food that all other countries have to comply with.

    Still, carry on 'winning'. LOL
