Wednesday marks the 18th anniversary of the fatal bombing of the AMIA Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Eighty-five people were killed by the blast with hundreds wounded. Read full article
#1 If you mean she's against an attack on Iran, which would kill thousands of people, then yes she is, and she has no duty to support such a murderous strike just because of what some in the Iranian regime might have done to Argentina. Btw it was Nestor who restarted the investigation to bring them to justice, Menem did nothing
allegations that Argentina's foreign minister agreed to abandon the investigation into Iran's role, in return for favorable trade links.
Do you believe that Iran (a known abuser of human rights, which is in relaity ruled by a non-elected relgious leader who must approve the president, despite public wishes) should be allowed to devlope a nuclear weapon. A nation which believes Israel should be destroyed (at the cost of millions of lives)? By not denouncing this, CFK is showing her support for Iran and all these ideas.
As for justive forget it, Argentina has a history of sheltering war criminals and violent thugs (as long as they support the government). Despiute a huge poliece prescense there have never been any arrests for the bombing of the EU embassey earlier this year by thugs or the throwing of petrol bombs and violence against the British Embassy. This government is completly uncocnerned with justice in all its forms unless it allows it to tighten its grip on the country,
Right Menem did nothing, because the Iranian bastards killed his son and threatened to kill all his familly. I am not a Menem fan, but I can understand why he backed down.
It's never been proven who was responsible. However in the context of the time and other events around the world that occured the finger of blame does point rather convincingly at Iran.
Interesting that one theory claims it was because Argentina stopped supplying nuclear tech to Iran. Rather odd that they'd target Jews if that was their motive.
Well, at least he was truthful then as he didn't GAF about a 'few' dead Jews, compared to his family.
Nestor 'restarted the investigation' which led where? Who was convicted? Great publicity though for the Jewish community abroad. I bet the remnant Jews in Argentina were not holding their breath for a result.
But of course, Iran being ruled by a bunch of Clerics and Mullahs and rabidly Sharia are your mates, aren't they.
Bet you would soon change your mind if a British born white Scot changed to an Islamist zealot and started killing your family 'in the name of Mohammad 'crap and piss be upon him'.

Jul 18th, 2012 - 10:08 am - Link - Report abuse 0CFK is trying to befriend Iran - she's not even condemning their nuclear programme.

This was a CIA or MI6 or Mossad finger to move chaos in Argentina.
