Pole of power indeeeeeed...the power to introduce further into South America the corrupt nature of Venezuela - worst in Latin America next to Haiti. The power to introduce the terrorist-supporting Iranian network. The power to preach Hugo Chávez' looney mix of Boliviarian philosphy and his version of Marxism. Such power! Such a “foco” (focus) of wonky tercermundisimo (third world ism)...

Smashing religious imagery on a cemetery……
    How civilized…
    How brave…

I’ll bet the 100 pesos in my wallet that they’ll never find the “heroes” that did it…..
“Omertà” is the name of the game in Malvinas.
You Whenies better get used to it…

The Brits are going broke and will not be able to pay for the Malvinas: Brit banks will now face years of thousands of court cases concerning the “Libor rate” fraud. Washington Post estimates it will cost them $ 70 billion. In the end the Brit government will have to nationalize them with tax payer money. The Falkslanders will have a choice - repatriation to their poor England - or association with a thriving MERCOSUR South America. The Brits had to leave Hon Kong - they will have to leave the Malvinas. But the Falklanders can have the same deal like Hon Kong: One Argentina but with an “autonomy” for the Falklanders in the Malvinas.

Thanks for that 14, you have just proven how out of touch you are, and by typing that nonsence, you have proven how much of an idiot you are.

    Again, thanks for that.

Ottona (#) you should become an Argentine politician, you talk absolute nonsense! and the Falklands will remain British just so long as they wish it. If and when Argentina becomes a true democracy, maybe then you will respect the right of self determination.

I believe that the glass was smashed thunk....not exactly smashing religious idols is it?

Any way all I will say is, you create enough ill will and bad mouth and denigrate against a country and eventually peoples tolerance will wear thin the more hot headed members of the community will over react.....I'm just surprised its taken so long given the bull shit and verbal abuse your lunatic country and non government has been hurling impotently at the islands and the UK.

UK doesn't need no help whatsoever to denigrate its name and reputation, it has you guys. As Uruguayan, after watching the olympics, I can only reaffirm UK is a racist nation, invasive even to its own inhabitants. No Welsh wanting God to save the queen tonight :)

@6 Strangely enough, I don't believe mercosur's combined GDP matches that of the UK. See, whatever figures the individual countries quote, it has to be reduced by around 25%. To account for the runaway inflation. But it's nice to see argieland and chavezland getting together. Given their individual track records, they should be able to ruin all four countries in short order. In the meantime, what a shame the “pole of power”, consisting of a demented botox-filled loser, an (ex-) guerrilla, a frightened, senile old man and a raving, dying, megalomaniac can't do what the UK can do on its own!
@12 It was your “special forces”, wasn't it? Not brave enough for a stand-up like men fight, eh? But then you never have been. I'm curious, why do you have those blue and white stripes on your dishrag? Why not be honest and have it all yellow? And why are you keeping toilet paper in your wallet? Is it that precious now?
@14 Still dreaming? Try Harry Potter or The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. So much more believable.
@20 Still waiting for the Wicked Witch of the South to come and seize the place where you live, eh? Won't bother you, will it? You're already on the payroll! Lookee, lookee everybody, a Uruguayan fink!

If by “pole of Power” she means like the power or static electcity, she's right on target. Mercosur is now going to be a trading bloc amongst itself. With a continent that is only seconf to Africa in poverty and countries with closed and shrinking economies, mathematically even a short run scenario looks bad for them.

    A deluded bunch.
Mercosur should be based on sound business sense and shared goals, these bunch of space cadets are driven political belief and all have anterior motives. The only winner in the long term will be Brazil, with Arg continuing to implode and VZ continuing to waste it's vast natural resources with Comrade Hugo's daft ideas.

@12 I don't Think aka The Turnip In Chief

How do we know, following the intrusion of your hockey captain who used the First World War Memorial on the Falklands (there are STILL no Malvinas) to do step ups that it wasn't a Malvinista who did the damage?

I would rather keep quit until the culprit is captured or identified (if he / she has left) and deal with it then. And, unlike you and your degenerate compatriots, I think there will be an excellent chance of apprehesing the reprehensible person(s) involved.

The last time you qutoted your wallet it had 160 shit pesos in it. The Mad Bitch Of Argentina strikes again, is it?
