Aug 01st, 2012 - 02:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0There rates are probably like 15%. It looks like a great return.......but nothing but fools gold.
Aug 01st, 2012 - 02:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Well, we knew this was bound to happen with the 'model' being founded by boss-eyed Nestor no less and follwed religously by TMBOA.
Aug 01st, 2012 - 06:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The problem with socialism, aka....Planned Economies is that there are not living in a buble, they are living(regardless where they are) in a globalized market economy. It reminds me of the dangers of a motorcycle. Motorcycles are not dangerous in and by themselves, its everyone else around them. You cannot control the natural economic forces of supply and demand.
Aug 01st, 2012 - 07:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0#2 So you've gone from a supporter of Nestor to the type of poster who sees any bad news, real or imagined, about Argentina, as good?
Aug 01st, 2012 - 07:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Seems to me he wants the pain and suffering ended sooner rather than a long and pronounced death.
Aug 01st, 2012 - 08:09 pm - Link - Report abuse 0real or imagined...hmm is Construction, Car Mfg and overall export splummeting real or imagined? I wonder who could tell us?
Aug 01st, 2012 - 08:57 pm - Link - Report abuse 0BK, do you think CFK is letting out murderers and rapists to be part of the La Campora brown shirts?
It does start to sound like Lopez Rega all over again. I do not know if they are joining La C, but they are being let out to attend cultural events.
Aug 01st, 2012 - 10:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It is a shame that after being a world power with a thriving economy, Argentina resorted to socialism with Peron. Somehow the very people that destroyed the economy became recognized as saints/gods in Argentina. Dictators Peron/Evita should be retaught in Arg. schools as the representation of what not to do with your country. Maybe this way they will stop voting for people like CFK and her husband. How can these people be be portrayed as anything but sick-minded, egotistical, thieves?

Aug 02nd, 2012 - 09:12 am - Link - Report abuse 0He is dead. This model was based on getting Argentina growing again and out of the depression. It is not a model which will serve them now. Unlike you I have some links to Argentina and can talk to people on the ground about what is happening. Unlike you, I have an actual idea of what is going on. Unlike you I am able to make decisions based on economic and political reality rather than blind loyalty to a figure who runs a country that that I‘ve never been to. Even the most Kirchnerist supporters amongst my family have done exactly what people Axel have done and are getting their money away from the hands of the government. You wouldn’t know this because you’ve never been to the country and have no idea of what is going on but the general attitude of my Kirchnerist friends is, “Yes, we can see this is all going to go horribly wrong and soon. In the mean time, let’s just try and live well and get our cash in something safe so we can live when the crash happens.” My uncle liquidated most of his peso savings and has just bought about 20 new cars as a hedge. We are also looking at visas for my little brother-in-law as when/if this happens things could get ugly. You, of course, don’t understand that because you know nothing of the country.
Just as you have no idea about Argentina because you’ve never been there and don’t understand the country, you also don’t understand sarcasm. Any crash in Argentina will hit family there and will make their lives very difficult. You, of course, won’t care as you have no links, no vested interest and are only interested in writing inane dribble based on what CFK looks like in a couple of photos.
As for myself, I do not trust any person, being from Argentina or not, who is a K supporter.

Aug 02nd, 2012 - 03:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0On a very much lower level than your uncle, I have just bought a LED TV (assembled in TDF) for an exorbitant price as a hedge against inflation (locally dollars are unobtainable) and to watch the Olympic Games which are really good and take ones mid off the deepening crisis!!!!!

Aug 02nd, 2012 - 11:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I hope you're enjoying the Olympics. How popular is it amongst your community? TiT would try to have us believe nobody is interested.

Aug 03rd, 2012 - 03:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0TTT is an egotistical liar, I did a small survey of a group of aquaintances in our town and the answer is:
Fanatic following of Olympic Games(OG)= 10 out of 13
Interested in Argentine participation in OG= 13 out of 13
Not interested in OG = 0 out of 13
Not conclusive proof that Argentines follow the Games, but certainly an indicator that they do!!!!
Give it time. The loans for building homes given by the national banks haven't kicked in yet obviously,
