    Sorry, but the final sentence seems to completely bely the rest of the article - the UK regards the sovereignty of Gibraltar as a trilateral issue and simply will not engage in bilateral talks beyond a quick informal chat (which is all this meeting really was).

    @1 - Yup

    It seems that Spain is just saying what it wants to happen, not what is actually happening.

    A quick chat with a Brit is now “bilateral relations” to a Spaniard.

    another territorial dispute started by another spanish speaking bunch of sore losers without the recognition of the inhabitants and their basic human rights of the very people they wish to oppress, any solution has to be made by the Gibraltans themselves and accepted regardless of Spain-tards expansionist ambitions.
    Look at the Argtards they will eventually realize the status quo with The falklands as there is no other option....
    just going off topic, the type 45 destroyer is certainly a wonderful vessel just drooling over the pictures (again) and its capabilities ..... i THINK its AWESOME......Its a Game changer.
    as i was saying spain will get over it, just like Argentina has,but they just dont know it yet.

    The UK's main job in this dispute should be to get the Gibraltans and Spanish talking, almost like of a mediator in the Trilateral Forum. The Gibraltans and Spanish are the neighbours after all, and will be spending many more centuries as neighbours.

    Spain is just using Gibraltar as a diversion to there own problems, all doomed governments always look to blame someone else,

    Gibraltar has told Spain, and the world, the answer is no,
    And the reply from Spain, is the same as CFK, gone deaf,
    They are not interested, ,,,,

    And time is running out, Gibraltar has already stated, that if Britain leaves the EU, then so will they,
    So Spain can go jump .
