I wonder why argieland continues with these Indec lies. Everyone knows that they are lies. Just look at the article! Take the Indec figures and multiply by 2 or 3. Is it a cunning plan to avoid having the fat slag have a heart attack every morning?

Inflation can't be as high as outsiders are suggesting because Big Macs are still cheap.... Oh hang on, I just read the latest Economist Big Mac index. LOL! Why does CFK's gov waste their time keeping prices on certain global icons so low?Does she think nobody can work it out? FFS!

Anyway, who gives a shit? As long as she keeps her grubby little hands off our islands and she seems to be doing that so all is well.

@4 - Well, you can't really count on the price of a BigMac in Argentina, because the government ordered McDonalds to lower the price on BigMac as they knew they were rated on the BigMac index. That's why McDonalds now sell a double BigMac for the price a regular BigMac should cost.
Again a clever move from KFC to delude people.

@6 Funny boy. Be grateful they put (fantasy) in brackets. There are several fantasies in argieland. Indec figures are one. The economy is another. Then there's the idea that anyone takes them seriously. For another, look around at argieland's “friends” most of them are crooks just as big. It's just that the others aren't quite so stupid. Poor argies. Poor little faggots.

The title is how it is. How would you describe the official rate? Accurate? Realistic? Correct? Credible? Reliable?

How WOULD you explain the situation with the various rates? How do YOU explain it?

    Chuckle chuckle.

If Argentines had any sense they'd beg for the Falklands to invade the mainland and get rid of this corrupt Peronista.

Argentina should bring up the export taxes to slow down inflation. A 25% export tax will keep inflation, Lower then 1% a year. A fee on foreign exchange should bring in a lot of extra capital.

This country have a deceased for more than fifty year is it is unique to Argentina, this bacteria was named after one of their saviors “THE PEROVIRUS” is contagious it affect mostly the brain, the victim's of this virus appear to be alive but they are” brain dead” so far this virus keep’s their victims in a zombie state for quite a long time, no cure so far as been found, scientist believe it enters the brain trough the populism side of the thinking brain disguised as “hope”, and causes stupor in the victim after that, the victim refuses to take any treatment and is very difficult to eradicate.
The virus is keep in check troughs heavy taxation regulations and expropriation using people that are not infected, but lately the government is forcing more of the saviors to give more so some are taking the pill that keeps the infected people alive call “Dollar” out of the country, the government of course is reacting to this action by applying heavy penalties to the saviors.
For the Center for Disease control in the US (CDC) this virus is priority, they need to find a cure before it spreads any further.
Evidence that the virus is spreading to other countries in Latino American had been found.
The only success so far was in Paraguay they think they found the antidote and is call “Common sense” and they hope neighboring countries will take this antivirus so they can wake up from the zombie state and prospers.

Sure, go ahead increase the price of your export and price them out of the market. You are running out of inports to produce anything of subtance. Argriculture is all that is left, at the moment. USA is debating wether to purchase it (bio-diesel)anymore and will most likely drop the military from buying it. There's goes the price plumment on bioidiesel, yet Argentina increases the price. The few remaining products you can export you are killing. Where did you leaarn basic macro economics, Lenin University of Socialism..........or LA Campora as a propaganized youth?
